The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow —
Commentary by Larry Schweikart

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Speaker Johnson says the Uke aid bill will come next, but will be paired with border security.

-Like Rutabaga is gonna sign that.

2) Ron DeSantis is really baring it all, saying the “GOP won’t nominate President Trump” if he is convicted.

-Really? All that appeals stuff doesn’t matter? The desperation is strong with this one.

3) And this comes on the heels of the latest DeSantis row: “Republican elected officials in Florida are expected to flip their endorsements from DeSantis to President Trump next week.”

4) Some might see this as a shot across the bow of New Kabul Mayor Eric the Red Adams, who has been critical of Rutabaga for filling the Big Rotten Apple up with illegal criminals: the FascistBI raided the home of one of the mayor’s fundraisers.

5) Tennessee, nothing surprising in that Trump beats Rutabaga badly by the same margins as 2020. Sen. Marcia Blackburn is also crushing her opponent.

6) The case in Minnesota to keep President Trump off the ballot there has reached that state’s Supreme Court.

-Choose wisely, Supes or the D.C. Supes will do it for you.

7) A roofing company in Florida has offered a free turkey and an AR-15 in its Thanksgiving special.

8) The Army suddenly and “chaotically” told hundreds of soldiers they have to be recruiters immediately.

-Guess that recruitment into the woke military is not going well.

9) Oregon just dropped all graduation standards, including writing, reading, and math, in the name of “equity,” i.e., certain groups weren’t passing.

10) Long Beach residents slam the influx of mentally ill homeless on their sidewalks as one filmed a man masturbating against a hair salon’s glass window in view of horrified customers.

-You voted DemoKKKrat, voting for Cankles at 72%, Rutabaga at 71%. Enjoy!

11) President Trump called this right: The fight between Israel and Hamas is between civilization and savagery and “every single life lost . . . is on the shoulders of Hamas, Hamas alone.”

12) Quinnipiac says RFK, Jr. pulls more votes from President Trump than from Rutabaga.

13) Ooooh, the war-whores in the Senate are getting testy with Tommy Tuberville as he refuses to lift his hold on military promotions until Rutabaga changes the Pentagon’s policy for troops seeking an abortion. Sounds like Rutabaga holds the key to this one, folks.

14) Typical lib response. D.C. mayor Muriel Bow Wow Bowser will hand out air tags to residents to make it easier for them to track their stolen cars.

15) Investigators say they know where Jimmy Hoffia’s remains are: Milwaukee.

16) Predictably, 23 squish Republicans joined DemoKKKrats to torpedo a resolution to censure Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-Palestine) over criticisms of Israel after Hamas murdered helpless concertgoers.

17) Now #bootgate made it to the UK Daily Mail.

18) Oh no she di-n’t. Nick Knack Paddywhack Give a Uke a Bomb compared her high heels to DeSantis’s lifts and asked if he could “run in ‘em.”

19) Well, this is different: an Ectopia (Portland) activist who supposedly worked on the city’s homelessness crisis was actually stealing the vagrants’ identities to scam thousands of taxpayer dollars.

IN CULTURE NEWS

20) Nearly 100 Ohio Methodist churches have left the Methodist Convention over homosexual policies.

21) And this is where, as Governor, Ron DeSantis has been exceptional: Florida has more homeschooled children of any U.S. state.

-Just sick and evil.

25) The son of WEF Co-founder Hussain Najadi, Pascal Najadi, has called for the arrests of those who pushed the China Virus vax, calling the injections a bioweapon.

-Er, did you clear that with Yuval Noah Harari?

26) China’s manufacturing index took a surprising downward turn.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

27) Peter Fischer, co-creator of “Murder, She Wrote” and writer of “Columbo,” dead at 88.

28) A new book sheds light on Karen Carpenter’s deadly anorexia battle.

29) Legendary Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight is dead at age 83.

-Knight, a three-time national champion, had a nearly unmatched team in 1976 where every single starter and the first two players off the bench not only were drafted by the NBA but started at least one NBA game.

30) The Texas Rangers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks for their first-ever World Series title.

-Just me, but I miss these guys as a band so much.

IN CHINA VIRUS NEWS

34) Elon Musk said that ventilators, not the China Virus, were responsible for millions of deaths.

-And the vax, Muskie. Don’t forget the vax.

AND FINALLY

35) If you have Netflix and need something to watch over the weekend, I have had great fun watching a show called "Super Pumped" about the rise of Uber with Joseph Gordon Levitt and also a show about Juul called "Big Vape." Both really great. See ya on Monday!
