President Donald Trump on Sunday announced a trade agreement with the European Union that would set tariffs at 15%, ending what had been months of uncertainty surrounding trade with the United States’ largest trade partner. The tariff rate is a reduction from the 30% that Trump threatened on July 12 and the 20% he said he would impose on April 2. Announcing the agreement, Trump said the E.U. will not impose a tariff on U.S. imports. He added that this agreement was “satisfactory to both sides.”

The talks are set to touch on a wide range of topics, from trade to Gaza - the BBC understands that the PM will press the US president on a ceasefire deal. The meeting presents an interesting dynamic, with an American president hosting a British PM for talks on British soil, writes Rajini Vaidyanathan from Turnberry.

#4 Lindsey Graham Spars With NBC Anchor Over Tulsi Gabbard’s New Russiagate Allegations - David Spector for Fox News, Maggie, Patty O'Toole, and PalPulse on  X

NBC "Meet the Press" host Kristen Welker asked Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., if he was trying to "distract from the Epstein matter" during a heated exchange on Sunday over Trump administration allegations that former President Obama may have directed the U.S. intelligence agencies to implicate Trump in the Russiagate scandal. "You’re trying to sweep this stuff under the rug, and that’s not right!" Graham said.  The argument erupted over the recent allegations lodged by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard claimed that declassified intelligence documents and a declassified 2020 House Intelligence Committee report revealed that in the waning days of the Obama administration, the then-president ordered U.S. intel agencies to alter their assessment of Russia’s attempts to interfere in the election, specifically to help elect Donald Trump...

When FBI agents arrived outside William Spearman's home in the quiet suburb of Madison, Alabama, in November 2022, they were prepared for danger.    Their search warrant was so important to the bureau that it was approved by the FBI director himself. When the agents breached Spearman's door with tactical explosives, Spearman fought back, tussling with the agents as three of his handguns remained barely out of reach. The FBI managed to handcuff and arrest Spearman, a high-value arrest, in what a top Justice Department official called "one of the most successful" prosecutions of its kind...

#6 Trump Calls for Kamala Harris, Oprah, and Beyoncé to Be Prosecuted - Ryan King for New York Post, Janie Johnson, Steelers Nasty, Tom Benson, Michael 68, and Jennifer Harper on X

President Trump demanded that former Vice President Kamala Harris be prosecuted along with Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Al Sharpton — for fees that were paid to the stars during the 2024 election. Trump claimed that the stars were paid millions of dollars by Harris’ campaign for appearances — and that the money amounted to illegal payments to endorse Harris’ failed presidential bid. “I’m looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election,” Trump began on Truth Social Saturday. “These ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO.”

#7 VP Vance Says Germany ‘Is Killing Itself’ With Unchecked Mass Migration - Paul Serran for The Gateway Pundit, Thomas Sowell Quotes, Grok, and RadioGenoa/Eddie Kadesh on X

As Donald J. Trump’s administration shocks the world with its America First agenda, a rejection of all Globalist theses and a firm commitment to peace, his top advisers are going around and reinforcing these policies and principles all over the world. A shining example is Vice President JD Vance, who has tackled Foreign Policy matters head-on, both in his speeches and interviews. His speech at the Munich Security Conference on February 14th is still reverberating around the geopolitical world. He said, “The threat that I worry most about vis-à-vis Europe is not Russia, not China, it’s not any other external actor. What I worry about is the threat from within—the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the United States of America.”

#8 Massie: ‘We’re Going to Force a Vote’ on Epstein Files After August Recess - Pam Key for Breitbart, Lee Ann Butts, New York Post, 99 Percent Alliance, mike kaswatuka, and ABC News on X

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said after the August recess, he will force a House vote on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. Massie said, “Well, I think we should get a lot more than just the book. Let’s get the financial records of the estate, follow the money, as they say up here. We should look at the plea-bargain, open that up, see what was the deal, what was the deal that was cut. I think there’s a lot more than just that letter. That letter is also sort of representative of something that’s embarrassing but not illegal, another reason why these files may be sealed and stay sealed, but we’re going to force a vote on this when we get back from the August recess. Ro Khanna and I are using a procedure called a discharge petition whereby if we get 218 votes, and we’re well on our way to that, 218 signatures, then we can force the vote.”

#10 Why a ‘Mini Trump’ Is Breaking Through in Japan - Arata Yamamoto and Jennifer Jett for NBC News, Dr. K, Grok, 이권상훈, Earthlings 1997, and 河村書店 on X

As President Donald Trump’s tariffs add to a sense of uncertainty in Japan, more voters here are embracing an idea inspired by their longtime ally, the United States: “Japanese first.” The nationalist slogan helped the right-wing populist party Sanseito make big gains in Japan’s parliamentary elections on Sunday, as it capitalized on economic malaise and concerns about immigration and overtourism. Party leader Sohei Kamiya, who since 2022 had held Sanseito’s only seat in the upper house of Japan’s parliament, will now be joined by 14 others in the 248-seat chamber. It’s a far cry from the party’s origin as a fringe anti-vaccination group on YouTube during the COVID-19 pandemic...
