The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow —
Commentary by Larry Schweikart

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Niiiice. This is called “weeding out the squidpickles,” as anti-Jim Jordan ringleader Kay Granger of TX won’t run for reelection. That’s three DemoKKKrats and one RINO out.

-Rich Baris: As head of the Appropriations Committee, this is huge. “Major scalp. . . . John O’Shea will win that seat (MAGA).”

2) But hold on! We got another one, as Colorado anti-Jodan/anti-Trump Congressman Ken Buck won’t seek reelection!

-Scalps, scalps, scalps. Looking like the Little Bighorn.

3) So? Mayor of New Kabul Eric the Red Adams warns again that illegal criminal immigration is “devastating” New Kabul.

-Don’t care. SEND. THEM. ALL. Reverse Cloward-Piven these hellhole towns until they elect MAGA people.

4) Okay, this is unsettling in so many ways. Richard Nixon had an affair with Zsa Zsa Gabor?

5) Yes, I’m glad, but what’s the point? Republicans unveil another personal check from James Biden to Rutabaga for $40,000 as part of an extortion scheme from the Chicoms.

6) The top U.S. Marine general, age 58, had a heart attack while jogging.

-I’m sure being vaxxed had nothing to do with it.

7) First, it’s, “We’ll subsidize EVs.” Then it’s, “Well, we just won’t tax them.” Then it’s, “You know, we are incurring some costs here. We need to impose fees.” Spokane imposes fees on charging stations and other “green” energies.

8) A second Missouri teacher was caught posing on OnlyFans. Once again, people homeschool, homeschool, homeschool.

9) Rutabaga said he would veto the House’s Israel support bill that cuts IRS money.

-For the first time, the House has Rutabaga playing into our hands. We don’t need more gubment spending, and we sure don’t need more IRS spending, and Israel hasn’t asked for our help. Make Rutabaga shut it down.

10) A federal judge ordered Georgia to create new black-majority electoral districts outside the proportion of the black-to-overall population.

11) Well, well. Here is a primary election in Connecticut overturned due to fraud. The judge said, “An election won by breaking the rules isn’t a fair election.

12) Judge Cannon signals she may postpone Trump’s classified docs trial.

13) Typical: now the Department of INJustice is going after the largest Christian university in America for “alleged tuition deception.” Grand Canyon University told students they would be charged a certain tuition if they finished in a normal time period, but many students took far longer.

-I can attest to this: when I got my Ph.D. at the University of California, Santa Barbara, when I arrived, many of my fellow Ph.D. students had already been there for seven years. I got my coursework done in one year.

14) A doctor says oral sex has surpassed smoking as the greatest risk for throat cancer.

IN CULTURE NEWS

15) Troubling in a lot of ways: at a recent Turning Point USA conference, a pastor on stage claimed “there is no theology for the Holy Spirit.” Say WHAT?

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

16) ADP showed 113,000 new jobs added last month, below the 150,000 expected, but, hey: Rutabaga says we are growing at a 5% rate.

17) Good. About time people wake up to these ecological, useless disasters called wind farms: a developer canceled plans for 2 New Joisey wind farms.

18) Banks closing across Groomer City, often without warning.

19) Fast food chains across Kollyfornia to hike prices with Gruesome’s new minimum wage increase taking effect.

20) A new study shows that a reckoning is coming with “green energy”: the requirements for 2040 would be 50 million miles of new transmission lines in the next 17 years or more than all capacity built by man in history!

21) About that “economic growth:” Looks like most of it is from gubment spending.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

22)  Nothing to see here, folks. Huawei surges into the 5.5G lead with a tenfold improvement over the current 5G.

23) The Rafah (Egypt) border with Gaza has been opened for the first time since Hamas started murdering Jews, allowing people to leave. I hope they all move.

24) The U.S. Senate voted 86-11 to defeat a bill requiring the U.S. to remove troops from Niger.

25) Are we seeing a “momentous shift” in China? Is a “female revolt” brewing? Gubment-approved male violence against women may be ending.

26) This is an astounding story. A murder in Namibia by two black Americans, one of whom was a spurned lover of a white man, took 13 years to reach its final just conclusion. It took more than 8 different attorneys for just one of the defendants.

27) The U.S. sent 300 more troops to the Middle East, raising the total to 1,200.

28) Boris Johnson, former British Prime Minister, said the China Virus was “nature’s way” of dealing with “old people.” Yeah, Boris? What about all the youts dying from heart attacks? Is that “nature’s way?” Ya, stupid schlozznozzle.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

29) More reports of Marvel collapsing, sending the company into panic mode and even considering reviving Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Black Widow. Feige desperate to save MCU. One article says “the Marvels” did test screenings and was “under average.” Also, “Captain Marvel” Halloween costume unwanted (#847). Now even Variety is writing about it.

-Dear Kev: I have a few suggestions. Dump She-Hulk and Marvels. Kill off, Captain Marvel. Have someone find the Time Stone and go back and re-set the originals.

30) HBO and Max execs created an army of troll accounts to target critics of their movies and TV shows. They “weaponized identity politics.”

IN CHINA VIRUS NEWS

31) Morons in the Bay Area are masking up again.

32) From the . . . New Yorker? “COVID Lockdowns Were a Giant Experiment. It was a Failure.”

AND FINALLY...

33) Folks, it looks like the Global Warming crowd is right. Our sun will expand to 1,000 times its size and obliterate the earth.

-Course, this won’t occur for a billion years, so there’s that.
