The Trump administration revoked the security clearances of 37 current and former officials on Tuesday that it accused of "politicization or weaponization" to "advance personal, partisan or non-objective agendas." The big picture: National Intelligence director Tulsi Gabbard publicly released a memo naming the officials, which Mark Zaid, a lawyer who represents intelligence officers and who's suing the Trump administration to have his revoked security clearance restored, said may have broken the law. Breaking from President Donald Trump's administration, the American Academy of Pediatrics published an immunization schedule that includes the COVID-19 vaccine as a recommendation for children. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. removed the COVID-19 vaccine as a recommendation for children and pregnant women in May. Since then, Kennedy faced backlash from doctors and, now, the pediatric society. The organization announced that it released its own "evidence-based immunization schedule." “The AAP will continue to provide recommendations for immunizations that are rooted in science and are in the best interest of the health of infants, children, and adolescents,” said AAP President Susan J. Kressly, MD, FAAP, in a written statement. “Pediatricians know how important routine childhood immunizations are in keeping children, families, and their communities healthy and thriving.” Under the firm leadership of President Donald Trump and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, the nation’s capital is finally seeing a long-overdue return to law and order. Over the weekend alone, federal and D.C. law enforcement officers made 68 arrests. They seized 15 illegal firearms in a single night — part of a broader crackdown that has now resulted in nearly 400 arrests in just days. Bondi announced the numbers via social media, declaring, “Homicide suspects, drug traffickers, and more are being charged… I’ll continue to stand with you as we make DC safe again." The Justice Department is investigating whether Washington, D.C., police manipulated data to make crime rates appear lower, escalating tensions between the Trump administration and local officials who have repeatedly cited drops in violent crime to protest the need for a federal takeover of law enforcement. The criminal probe — being run out of the D.C. federal prosecutor’s office, led by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro — is expected to examine the actions of multiple police officials, according to three people familiar with the investigation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private deliberations... Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook, brought aboard by former President Joe Biden as the first African American woman and first woman of color to sit on the Board, is reportedly the latest Democrat targeted for a mortgage fraud investigation. Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte, a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, has called on Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Cook over a pair of mortgages, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
In early June, sparking hope in those of us outplayed by the profound influence that special interest groups have held over the vaccine policies that are surely sickening our children, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), dismissed all 17 members of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and replaced them with a group of eight handpicked advisors. In early August, this bold move was strengthened further by the removal of more than a half-dozen of “the nation’s top medical organizations” from attending the workgroups of ACIP. Historically, these liaison workgroups have played a pivotal role in establishing vaccination recommendations. Indeed, with nearly 80 doses on the current vaccine schedule, it is well established that children in the United States are incredibly unhealthy. HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon confirmed the decision for the ouster in an email, stating...
