#10 Family of Kansas City Chiefs Fan Smeared as Racist Files Lawsuit Against Deadspin - Carlos Garcia for Blaze Media
The family of a 9-year-old Kansas City Chiefs fan smeared as a racist has filed a defamation lawsuit against Deadspin for its dishonest reporting. Holden Armenta was lambasted by writer Carron Phillips at the sports news outlet after wearing a Native American headdress to a game between the Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders in November. "It takes a lot to disrespect two groups of people at once. But on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, a Kansas City Chiefs fan found a way to hate Black people and the Native Americans at the same time," wrote Phillips at the time. Immediately after the outlet published the article, critics pointed out that it had used a misleading photograph, only showing one-half of the child's face in order to make it appear as if he was wearing blackface...
#9 Williamson Ends 2024 Primary Challenge to Biden - Hanna Trudo for The Hill
Marianne Williamson ended her presidential primary bid Wednesday evening after failing to break single digits. Williamson announced she was suspending her campaign in a video, starting off by talking about a quote she read recently, “sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too.” Disgraced former Baltimore District Attorney Marilyn Mosby sobbed in court Tuesday as she was convicted of mortgage fraud — a verdict that could carry decades in prison. The Democrat served in office from 2015 until she lost her 2022 reelection bid after being indicted on perjury and mortgage fraud charges related to the withdrawal of funds from the city’s Deferred Compensation Plan. Prosecutors believe that in May 2020, Mosby took advantage of the CARES Act — the first coronavirus relief bill — by seeking a $40,000 withdrawal from her city retirement account, reported the Baltimore Sun. Though she blamed the withdrawal on financial setbacks supposedly suffered due to the pandemic, Mosby’s salary had actually increased by $10,000 to a total of $248,000 that year, according to the local publication... The Justice Department special counsel investigating President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents has completed his inquiry, and a report is expected to be released soon to Congress and the public, Attorney General Merrick Garland told lawmakers in a letter Wednesday. Garland did not detail the conclusions of the report from special counsel Robert Hur but said he was committed to disclosing as much of the document as possible once the White House completes a review for potential executive privilege concerns. That process is expected to be completed by the end of the week, said Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House counsel’s office... In an embarrassing setback, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley lost the Nevada GOP presidential primary Tuesday to "none of these candidates." The loss is largely meaningless, because former President Donald Trump decided to skip the Nevada presidential preference primary and instead is expected to win the GOP-run caucuses Thursday night. That victory will give him all 26 of the state's delegates. But it's a symbolic hit to the former governor who came in third in Iowa and second in New Hampshire and heads next to her home state's Feb. 24 Republican primary. She captured almost 32% of the vote, while "none" claimed nearly 62%, with close to two-thirds of the state's votes counted. Anyone calling for the arrest of US journalist Tucker Carlson over his plan to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin should themselves be detained, billionaire Elon Musk has suggested. Carlson arrived in Moscow last weekend, saying he intended to show Americans an unfiltered Russian position on the Ukraine conflict and the broader tensions between Moscow and the West. The former Fox News host accused the mainstream media of failing to provide the full picture due to political reasons and said Musk had promised not to suppress the distribution on X (formerly Twitter) of his planned interview with Putin.
#8 Republican Who Voted Against Mayorkas Impeachment Threatened with a Primary Challenger - Jack Davis for The Western Journal
On Tuesday night, House Republicans failed in their attempt to impeach Mayorkas, with 214 votes to support impeachment and 216 against. Republican Reps. Blake Moore of Utah, Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, Tom McClintock of California, and Ken Buck of Colorado voted with Democrats, according to The Washington Post.“Mike Gallagher’s political career should be over. We will work with the patriots in Wisconsin’s 8th district to primary him. Just like Lankford, we have no room for these people who cover for traitors like Mayorkas,” Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA posted on X. Kirk’s post references Republican Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma, who was one of the Senate Republicans who had a hand in negotiating a border security bill Republicans have rejected...

#6 Ford Considers Axing Car Feature That Could Save Company Millions Per Year - Breck Dumas for Fox Business
Ford Motor Co. is considering getting rid of the automated parallel parking feature in its vehicles as part of its cost-cutting measures in 2024, saying few customers utilize it anyway. Ford COO Kumar Galhotra said during a call with analysts Tuesday that the automaker plans to make some material and design changes aimed at improving efficiency and saving money. Galhotra said connected vehicle data has helped the company determine whether customers are using certain features, and from assessing that data, it makes sense to scrap the auto-park feature."Very, very few people are using it, so we can remove that feature," Galhotra said, saying the move would save around $60 per vehicle, amounting to roughly $10 million per year...

#3 The Great Awakening Wins at the Santa Monica International Film Festival - Mathew Aldred Build Back Better Substack
Is this more evidence of The Great Awakening?
Three years after the introduction of the experimental and tainted COVID-19 jabs, a shameful collection of Big Pharma-funded mainstream media outlets are doing their darndest to set the story so the massive influx of serious adverse events following the deadly jabs appears unremarkable. These outlets are betting that society will fall for their smoke-and-mirrors tactics and fail to realize that the rise in heart attacks in the young, the explosive uptick in cancers, Long-Covid, and other illnesses are without hesitation directly tied to the mRNA gene-damaging shots. The latest in the scheme is a February 5 column by Dr. Faith Coleman in StudyFinds titled, “Young adults are having heart attacks more often—What’s causing it?”
