Here are 3 of the 19:

- “Batch” searches that included current and former federal government officials, journalists, and political commentators.
#9 The IRS will waive $1 billion in penalties for people and firms owing back taxes for 2020 or 2021 - Fatima Hussein for AP News
The IRS said Tuesday it is going to waive penalty fees for people who failed to pay back taxes that total less than $100,000 per year for tax years 2020 and 2021. Nearly 5 million people, businesses, and tax-exempt organizations — most making under $400,000 per year — will be eligible for the relief starting this week, which totals about $1 billion, the agency said. The IRS temporarily suspended mailing automated reminders to pay overdue tax bills during the pandemic, beginning in February 2022, and agency leadership says the pause in automated reminders is a reason behind the decision to forgive the failure-to-pay penalties.
#8 Surge in Lawsuits Against Florida Insurance Industry Sparks Congressional Concern - Dave Elias for CBS News
Florida has a big insurance problem. Could this be the reason why? In a concerning development, some industry experts are sounding the alarm over a concerted assault on the insurance sector in Florida, where thousands of lawsuits have forced numerous companies out of business. He explained that law firms are deploying significant financial resources to manipulate internet searches and steer individuals toward sites they control, all with the aim of instigating lawsuits. However, Co-founder of 4Warn, Todd Kozikowski, an astrophysicist and data scientist, revealed a digital trail that hinted at a larger story. “Before there was wind in the state to fly a kite, we saw where they were setting up websites and setting up playbooks and bidding on keywords sometimes, $50, $60, $70 a click to get somebody to file an insurance claim before the storm even hit,” Kozikowski revealed. It is now sparking Congressional concern!
#7 "This Is Off The Charts": Economist Claims 2024 Will Bring 'Biggest Crash Of Our Lifetime' In US - Tyler Durden for Zero Hedge
An economist who focuses on consumer spending has issued a dire warning about the U.S. economy in the coming year."Since 2009, this has been 100 percent artificial, unprecedented money printing and deficits: $27 trillion over 15 years, to be exact," economist Harry Dent told Fox Business on Dec. 19. "This is off the charts, 100 percent artificial, which means we're in a dangerous state. "I think 2024 is going to be the biggest single crash year we'll see in our lifetime. "We need to get back down to normal, and we need to send a message to central banks," he said. "This should be a lesson I don't think we'll ever revisit. I don't think we'll ever see a bubble for any of our lifetimes again."
#6 Argentina: Javier Milei Announces Deregulation of Economy - DW and Citizen Free Press
Javier Milei has ordered an overhaul of the economy by eliminating or changing more than 300 rules. The deregulation measures are still subject to approval from the legislature. Argentina's newly-elected president Javier Milei has announced that he plans to change the country's economic system by deregulating it using his presidential powers. He said he aims to change more than 300 regulations to lay "the foundations for the reconstruction of the Argentine economy and restore freedom and autonomy to individuals, removing the State from their shoulders." "The goal is to start along the path to rebuilding the country," Milei said in a speech broadcast on television and radio. Milei has vowed to pull Argentina out of economic distress but has warned that economic "shock" treatment is the only solution. He has also warned the public that the economic situation will get worse before it will get better.
#5 Ukraine ‘Scales Back’ Military Operations, Blames Lack of Foreign Aid - Oliver JJ Lane for Breitbart
Ukraine has blamed a “shortfall in foreign assistance” as it suffers a shortage of munitions, forcing it to make operations “smaller” in its Western-backed war against the Russian occupation. General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi cited shell starvation “across the entire front line” — what he called a “very big problem” – and what Reuters paraphrased as “the drop in foreign military aid” as being major factors in the reduced combat readiness of Ukrainian troops.
#4 Parents Sue Michigan School District Over Pronouns - Madalyn Buursma for The Hill
According to the lawsuit, it is the district’s policy to use students’ chosen names and pronouns and to not notify parents if a student is not out to them. In October 2022, the Meads found out the school had been referring to their child with he/him pronouns when a school employee sent over an official report and had inadvertently included a note from a teacher that used he/him pronouns and referred to the student with their preferred name. The Meads ultimately withdrew their student from the school and switched to homeschooling. The lawsuit, filed Monday by the Alliance Defending Freedom on behalf of the parents, says by referring to the Mead’s child by a masculine name and pronouns without notifying them, the school violated their 1st and 14th Amendment rights.
#3 Biden Brags About Defying Supreme Court and Relieving '136 Million' Student Loan Debts - Haisten Willis for The Washington Examiner
President Joe Biden bragged Wednesday about defying the Supreme Court over student loans and appeared to slip up verbally in doing so. "I went to the Supreme Court to eliminate student debt out there,” Biden said to applause at a Bidenomics-focused speech in Milwaukee. “Guess what? The Supreme Court ruled against me, but I still got 136 million people’s debt relieved.” As of early December, the Biden administration has written off roughly $132 billion in student loan debt for 3.6 million borrowers. That means Biden overshot the number of people affected by about 133 million. But the numbers "1," "3," and "6" are found in the correct figures.#2 Judge Orders Immediate Enforcement of Georgia Election Workers' $148M Judgment Against Giuliani - Lucien Bruggeman
A federal judge on Wednesday granted former Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss' request to expedite their $148 million judgment against Rudy Giuliani, saying that the mother and daughter have "good cause" to fear Giuliani may attempt to avoid paying them. Judge Beryl Howell agreed Wednesday that Giuliani's record as an "unwilling and uncooperative litigant" provides the plaintiffs "good cause to believe that he will seek to dissipate or conceal his assets" before paying them. If Giuliani intends to appeal the judgment, which he has indicated he plans to do, he "would have to comply with the usual requirement of a full supersedeas bond," Howell wrote, meaning that he may have to post a bond in the full amount of the judgment, Howell said.-So, they want to bankrupt him before he can even begin the appeal process?
#1 Ann Coulter: Biden’s Three Paths to Victory - Ann Coulter for Breitbart
PLAN A: Enrage Republicans by bringing a string of ludicrous indictments, civil suits and ballot disqualifications against Donald Trump, thus tricking the GOP into making him the nominee.RESULT: Joe Biden easily wins a second term. If Trump behaves as we know he will, Biden wins even if he’s dead.
PLAN B: Keep telling the public that Trump is the prohibitive front-runner. Talk about him as if he were already the nominee. This will discourage sane Republicans from voting. What’s the point? It’s going to be Trump anyway; the media say so.
RESULT: Trump’s the nominee; landslide for Biden. (It’s very similar to Plan A.)
PLAN C: Get Republicans to nominate Nikki Haley.
RESULT: Either way, a Democrat wins.
