The complete farce of the House impeachment hearings finally got underway a few weeks ago. Despite the fact this whole thing is a sham and House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, already admitted the full House has to agree to hold impeachment hearings, not just one committee, Rep. Jerrold Nadler has insisted on forging ahead with this empty theater.
The very first witness the House Judiciary Committee called in to be a part of this farce was former Trump campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, who testified on September 17.
Appearing only because he'd been subpoenaed, Lewandowski was combative and uncooperative throughout almost five hours of hostile questioning, which was hardly surprising.
Media mavens immediately retired to their fainting couches on hearing Lewandowski bluntly state that he was never under any obligation to tell the truth to a completely partisan news media that was out to scalp him and sabotage Trump's campaign by any means necessary.
Outlets such as CNN and MSNBC, The New York Times and The Washington Post gave clearly outraged responses to Lewandowski saying this, completely ignoring that what he'd said was 100% true.
You don't need me to tell you the so called “News Media” that is really a completely partisan arm of the Democratic Party will misrepresent and omit facts in its reporting to the public. You already know they do. You just spent more than two years watching them push the Trump/Russia hoax.
They will lie about you all day long while insisting you owe them the truth – so they can twist your words and use them against you.
Yet even after the Trump/Russia hoax was exposed, all these Fake News Media people just keep going on their merry way as if nothing happened.
CNN and MSNBC frequent commentator Nicole Wallace tweeted out:
Ah, so it appears certain denizens inside the Fake News Media are still willing to put up this charade that they are owed anything from the people they go after. Well. Oh well, kindly allow ME to retort!
Two weeks ago the Fake News Media’s latest attempted hatchet job which targeted a sitting Supreme Court justice blew up in their faces.
The New York Times published an article based on a new book by two of their reporters that was clearly an attempt to launch a new sexual allegation against Justice Kavanaugh.
As bestselling author and Fox News contributor, Mollie Hemingway forced the Times into admitting, these hacks had the truth of the matter all along about these latest allegations – and they deliberately suppressed it. I'm not giving the title of the execrable book or the names of the reporters who perpetrated this farce. Suffice to say they had evidence the new allegation they were publicizing was completely false – the alleged victim did not recall any such incident. For some strange reason, this pertinent fact was not included in the Time's article or the new book.
And then last week we had the Fake News Media coordinate with anonymous sources to launch a new smear against President Trump that has already spectacularly backfired on them.
In an illegal leak cleverly disguised as a 'whistle blower complaint’, Trump was attacked for supposedly demanding that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, start an investigation of Democratic candidate and frontrunner Joe Biden. It was claimed Trump threatened to withhold military aid unless the Ukrainian government acceded to his demands.
Despite the Democrats and the media's best efforts at a successful launch for this new fake narrative, it failed to reach orbit when Trump quickly declassified both the transcript of his call with Zelensky and the so-called whistle blower complaint itself. This revealed that almost everything the whistle blower was claiming was wrong.
There was no 'quid pro quo' demand from Trump during the phone call, where he presses Zelensky to investigate Biden or get crucial military aid withheld. Not only that, the criminal-leaker-disguised-as-a-whistleblower also managed to get basic facts wrong.
In the filed complaint, the leaker claims State Department counselor, Ulrich Brechbuhl, was listening in to the call between Trump and Zelensky. This turned out to be wrong. Brechbuhl was not present.
Trump also never made any kind of a threat to withhold military aid to Ukraine. The fact show the Ukrainian government had no idea there would be a delay to the delivery of the military hardware until a month after this phone call. Not only does the transcript of the call demonstrate no threat to hold back the aid was made by Trump, President Zelensky himself has been quite vocal about the fact that Trump made no such threat. In fact, Zelensky has said he was never told why the $25o million in aid was delayed.
Concurrent with all of this going on, the renewed interest in Ukraine suddenly led to a video of former Vice President Biden openly bragging during a public appearance about how he threatened to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees to Ukraine unless a specific prosecutor was fired.
That certain prosecutor just happened to be investigating an energy company, Burisma Holdings, where Biden's own son, Hunter, sat on the board for some strange reason, being paid a reported $50,000 a month, despite the fact he had no experience in the energy industry.
The renewed interest in exactly how the Biden family enriched itself through the use of federal powers also resulted in a spotlight being thrown on the Biden's dealings with China.
So, the attempted smear of Trump ended up blowing the lid off the long-downplayed Biden family corruption related to Ukraine and China.
Understand this well: the DNC Media Complex will deliberately present disinformation given to it by its political masters to trick the public and place their political opponents at a disadvantage. They use long-practiced Alinsky tactics with relish. It's not about the truth – it's about power.
You know why they hate Trump and his people so very very much? Because Trump knows the true nature of this, how the Democrats use the partisan media to lie about and attack their political enemies with lies, smears and disinformation.
AND TRUMP AND HIS PEOPLE GIVE IT RIGHT BACK TO THEM.
Yes, Corey Lewandowski admitted that in the past he's made false statements and passed on disinformation to the media that make its own false statements and prints its own deliberately created disinformation every single day.
I've said for two years Trump fights their disinformation and fake leaks with.... his own disinformation and fake leaks.
We're supposed to be surprised or shocked to discover examples of this, that Trump and Co. refuse to play fair with people using every dirty trick they can think of to sabotage him and people like Brett Kavanaugh?
And it’s incredibly entertaining to me to watch people like Nicole Wallace and Brian Stelter and Rachel Maddow and Jake Tapper throw a tantrum when Trump Alinsky's them right back.
Lewandowski and President Trump are 100% correct.
**WHY** should you treat partisan political activists disguised as journalists as if they were genuine news reporters? What puts you under any obligation to place yourself at a distinct disadvantage when dealing with these partisan activists by having to always tell them the truth?
As I stated in a column here at Uncover DC recently, these people don’t see their jobs as reporting facts or real news. They are political operatives whose real job is to help launch and drive political narratives. Whether those narratives are true or not is irrelevant to them, and it shows.
I can’t tell you how absolutely infuriating it is to watch political activists disguised as reporters who spin fake narratives for a living get all huffy and self-righteous as they demand that the people they are smearing tell them the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, while they are hanging targets on their backs and helping the firing squad take aim.
If the lying politically partisan legacy news media think people like Brett Kavanaugh or Corey Lewandowski owe them **anything** at this point, they are sadly mistaken about that.
As the recent Fake News Media scandals these nitwits have brought upon themselves so clearly demonstrates, **even when you tell these hacks the truth, they won’t print it**.
The truth does not matter to these partisan activists in the Fake News Media. The only thing that matters to them is the particular political narratives they are pushing at the present moment.
The Fake News Media blithely presses on in denial as if most Americans can't see right through them. They blew up whatever credibility they had left on the Russia hoax. Nobody's buying the propaganda they are selling anymore.
They still think they have an advantage in loudly calling themselves something they manifestly are not, so people like Kavanaugh and Lewandowski and Trump **must** deal with them according to their fake image of themselves.
“I say I'm an honest and neutral and nonpartisan news reporter, so that's why you are **obligated** to treat me that way!”
No, I'm not. You're a liar whose stock in trade is telling lies. So, I'll treat you exactly as you deserve.
And it absolutely enrages them when their targets fire back and refuse to play along with the fake image these propaganda outlets present to hide their true nature.
At the end of the film “Labyrinth”, a young girl who has been pursued avidly by The Goblin King [masterfully played by the late David Bowie] defeats him forever by coming to a sudden realization as he tries to convince her to lower her defenses and place herself under his rule:
“You have no power over me.”
Understand what fuels the rage you are seeing from Democrats and their media hack allies as they throw massive tantrums when President Trump and his allies refuse to pretend they are dealing with honest people.
They have lost their power. And they're not going to ever get it back. Like the Goblin King, they are defeated and fading away into the night.
Well, good riddance.
