White House staff have moved the portraits of three former presidents — including former President Barack Obama — to a staircase where visitors can’t see them, according to a new report. President Donald Trump directed staff to move Obama’s White House portrait to the top of the Grand Staircase, CNN reports, citing sources familiar with the move. The Grand Staircase leads up to the residence, an area that is restricted to the president’s family, Secret Service, and select staff. As a result, visitors can’t see the portrait, according to CNN. Portraits of former President George. W. Bush and his father, former President George H.W. Bush, were also moved to the staircase area, the outlet reports...

President Trump wrote Sunday that homeless people should be moved out of Washington, D.C., "IMMEDIATELY" and relocated "FAR" away, as he hints at more aggressive policing in the nation's capital — and suggests putting the city under federal control. The Trump administration announced last week it had boosted the presence of federal law enforcement in D.C., after the alleged assault of a former Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, staffer. In a series of Truth Social posts over the weekend, the president suggested he may take further action, announcing a Monday morning press conference he said would "involve ending the Crime, Murder, and Death in our Nation's Capital." Mr. Trump's possible next steps remain unclear...

US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Alaska next Friday to discuss the future of the war in Ukraine. Trump announced the 15 August meeting on social media and it was later confirmed by a Kremlin spokesperson, who said the location was "quite logical" given Alaska's relative proximity to Russia. President Volodymyr Zelensky said any solutions must include Ukraine, adding he is ready to work with all partners towards a "lasting peace". The announcement of the meeting came just hours after Trump had signalled that Ukraine might have to cede territory in order to end the war, which began with Russia's full-scale invasion of its neighbour in February 2022...

Former Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams — who served during the first Trump administration — argued Sunday that "people are going to die" if the U.S. backs away from mRNA vaccine development, after Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. halted around $500 million in research funding. Kennedy announced last week that the administration was canceling 22 mRNA vaccine development projects, saying the vaccines "fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like COVID and flu." The projects were funded through the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, or BARDA. Kennedy said the funds would be shifted toward "safer, broader vaccine platforms that remain effective even as viruses mutate."

Ten years after the Supreme Court extended marriage rights to same-sex couples nationwide, the justices this fall will consider for the first time whether to take up a case that explicitly asks them to overturn that decision. Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for six days in 2015 after refusing to issue marriage licenses to a gay couple on religious grounds, is appealing a $100,000 jury verdict for emotional damages plus $260,000 for attorneys' fees. In a petition for writ of certiorari filed last month, Davis argues First Amendment protection for free exercise of religion immunizes her from personal liability for the denial of marriage licenses...

Company Funded by Bill Gates Wants to Know - Scott McClallen for Townhall, Mindy MF Robinson, Getúlio Santana, Wall Street Mav/Ian Jaeger, Shadow of Ezra/HaveBlue77, and Alex Jones/Captain Tuttle on X
Do you want to eat fake butter? The company Savor sells butter made from carbon. While some people are excited, others are disgusted. The account @TPV Sean posted on X. “Bill Gates' Fake 'Butter' Made From Human Waste Approved by FDA Without Safety Data In a move straight out of a dystopian nightmare, the FDA has just greenlit a lab-grown, fake "butter" cooked up by a Bill Gates–funded startup in California. No labels. No warnings. Already slipping into the food supply via restaurants and bakeries across America. The kicker? It was approved using only the Gates Foundation’s own safety claims - no independent tests, no animal trials, no public review. And when you find out what it’s actually made from... let's just say, this isn’t the first time Gates has been caught trying to quietly feed it to the masses.”
