Former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent said Monday that FBI Director Kash Patel ordered investigators to stop working on Charlie Kirk’s murder case. In an interview with The Daily Caller, Kent said federal authorities curtailed his team’s investigative efforts, pointing to a top-down decision that halted further inquiry. He said the FBI imposed the restriction following direct orders from Patel. “You said that you were stopped from investigating this. Who specifically stopped you?” Daily Caller’s Editor-in-Chief Amber Duke asked Kent. “And did that come specifically from Director Patel?” “It did. Yeah, it was part of a discussion that he and I had back and forth, and then, ultimately, that was the decision that was made,” Kent said...
#2 Trump ‘Fires’ Noem’s Alleged Lover Lewandowski After He’s Caught With Her in Photos - Maria Villarroel for The Mirror US, The U.S. Embassy Guyana/WHM, Art Candee, Ronnie.813, The Inquisitr, and Kat Tempf/The New York Post/CARL AZ MAN on X
Corey Lewandowski has been fired from his role as a special government employee after the White House reportedly saw pictures of him with his alleged mistress and former boss, Kristi Noem. Lewandowski's ousting comes as he and the former Department of Homeland Security Secretary were seen together on a tour across South America. Three sources close to the Trump administration, as well as a White House official, confirmed the news to the New York Post. The alleged lovers were recently spotted in Guyana, the fourth leg of a five-country tour, which started when she was still DHS Secretary. It comes after Trump was seen "in distress" as his head jerked and eyes rolled back in an alarming health video... Melania Trump often commands the attention of any room she enters, but all eyes — and cameras — were trained on her humanoid companion on Wednesday. The robot accompanied the first lady to the White House East Room for the final day of a summit she had convened with counterparts from around the world through her Fostering the Future Together global initiative. The group has been discussing ways to empower children using education, innovation, and technology, including artificial intelligence... The FBI is investigating whether a video claiming responsibility for a possible explosive device left at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida last week is credible, according to law enforcement sources. The video, sent to the Tampa Bay Times via the Signal app, warns of more possible bombs. It also includes a timeline for a series of threats targeting the base last week, including the suspicious package discovered on March 16 and another threat that led to a lockdown at the base later in the week, according to the paper's reporting. According to the newspaper, the person talking in the video is in silhouette and appears to be speaking in an altered voice. The person in the video claimed to be affiliated with a group that is against the war in Iran and the U.S. deportation policy... The Trump administration has made new criminal referrals to the Department of Justice targeting New York Attorney General Letitia James, Fox News has confirmed. The referrals, submitted by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte, allege potential insurance fraud tied to properties linked to James and have been sent to U.S. attorneys in Florida and, reportedly, Illinois for review. "The Department of Justice can confirm that referrals were received by our U.S. Attorney Offices," a DOJ spokesperson told Fox News. One of the referrals obtained by Fox News alleged "suspected homeowners' insurance fraud." The House Ethics Committee on Thursday will hold a rare public "trial" for Democratic Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida, who is accused of stealing $5 million in federal pandemic funds and using some of the money to boost her congressional campaign. Republicans are already trying to expel Cherfilus-McCormick from Congress over the allegations. Based on the outcome of the hearing, the Ethics Committee could recommend expulsion, which could prompt Democrats to support removing her. In January, the bipartisan committee released the findings of its lengthy investigation into the alleged campaign finance scheme. The report shed new light on the Florida Democrat's efforts to bolster her congressional campaign after two unsuccessful bids in 2018 and 2020. Here’s what we know about BA.3.2 and why you should care: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the new COVID-19 variant BA. 3.2 has mutations in the virus that could evade immunity from a previous infection or vaccination. The COVID-19 BA.3.2. variant was first detected in South Africa in 2024, with a notable increase in cases starting in September 2025. It was first detected in the U.S. in June 2025. As of February 11, 2026, BA.3.2 had been reported in 23 countries. In the U.S., it was detected in nasal swabs from four travelers, three airplane wastewater samples, clinical samples from five patients, and 132 wastewater samples from 25 U.S. states. Chevron said it is threatening to close its oil refineries in California due to overregulation, which the oil company said is contributing to price spikes amid the war in Iran. Due to California’s taxes, emissions rules, and other regulations, which hit gas costs harder than in many other states, the price per gallon is well over the national average. Tehran’s decision to effectively shut off the Strait of Hormuz has left millions of barrels of crude oil stationary, hurting economies in Asian countries, which heavily rely on oil from the Middle East. In turn, Chevron, which imports fuel from China, South Korea, and Singapore, is facing the brunt of the blockade. Amid the energy crisis, Beijing has banned fuel exports...

The partial government shutdown is reaching far beyond long lines at airport security and flight cancellations, top Homeland Security officials told a House committee Wednesday. The protracted partial shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security means new Transportation and Security Administration workers won’t be trained in time to accommodate the surge of fans traveling throughout the country for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, disaster relief funds are dwindling, and some cybersecurity intelligence isn’t being properly shared, the officials told the House Homeland Security Committee...

When Foundation CEO Mike LeBlanc made the rounds last month pitching autonomous combat drones, he led with the argument that tends to land best in polite company: these machines will save American lives. Pilots won’t be shot down. Soldiers won’t bleed out in forward positions. The robots go to battle, and the humans come home. Indeed, it is a reasonable argument. It’s also the kind of argument that has historically been used to justify things we later regret—because it stops the conversation precisely where the conversation actually needs to start.
