#1 Supreme Court Ignores History in Favor of Its Own Rule for Warrantless Home Entries - Brian Frazelle for Constitutional Accountability Center, Amity/Gun Owners of America, Breanna Morello, Orin Kerr, Dan Epps, and CloudylFR o X
Following today’s decision at the Supreme Court in Case v. Montana, a case in which the Court considered whether police may enter homes without warrants based on less than probable cause that an emergency is occurring, Constitutional Accountability Center Deputy Chief Counsel Brian Frazelle issued the following reaction:  Today’s decision is disappointing. The Supreme Court repeatedly proclaims that common-law standards from the time of the Founding can help guide what is “reasonable” under the Fourth Amendment. Yet today’s opinion—which creates a new situation in which police can forcibly enter private homes without warrants—says not a word about those historical standards, adding fuel to the criticism that the Court uses history only when it aligns with the Justices’ policy preferences...

#2 Senate Hearing Erupts as Ob/Gyn Refuses to Answer if Men Can Get Pregnant - Elaine Mallon for ABC 7 News, Eric Daugherty,  America/Elon Musk, Piers Morgan/Denny Burke, Senator Ashley Moody, and Josh Hawley on X

A board-certified OB/GYN and medical school professor refused to give a direct answer to Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), who repeatedly asked her if men can get pregnant during a Congressional hearing on Wednesday. Dr. Nisha Verma, an OB/GYN representing Physicians for Reproductive Health, refused to give a “yes or no” answer to the question first raised by Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL) and again by Hawley because she wasn’t certain what the “goal” was behind the question. “I do take care of patients with different identities,” Verma told Hawley...

#3 Oprah Winfrey: Obesity Causes Overeating, Not the Reverse - Oprah Daily, ⁿᵉʷˢ Robert F. Kennedy Jr./Brando Republic, Vigilant Fox, Retard Finder, Kevin, and Tim Young/Nicholas Fondacaro on X
My “why” in life is helping people with obesity. So when Oprah raised the idea of writing a book about obesity, the answer was clear. Together, we wanted to share a truth. And that truth is that obesity is a disease. It’s not a choice. It’s not about willpower or failure. It’s a disease. For Oprah, as for many of my patients, this truth was a lightbulb moment. And embracing this realization changes the entire conversation around weight and health. Which is why Oprah and I wrote our book, Enough. To tell the truth about the disease of obesity. To describe the new treatment options. To set your mind and body free from fault or self-blame and, if you so choose, to lay open potential new paths for improving health...

#4 There’s a Stunning Amount of Cash Leaving Minnesota - James Flippin 77 WABC, Andrew Kolvet/Walter Curt, Bookerteejones, Laura Ingraham/Eric Daugherty, Leon/Just Because Keith Malinak, and Collin Rugg/George on X

It seems as though the fraud that’s taken place in Minneapolis is a bottomless pit. Whether it’s fake meals that were never actually made (for food assistance programs), or child care centers with non-existent children, the immigration-linked scandal has stolen an estimated $1 billion from US taxpayers. Now, there’s new evidence suggesting that there’s been a mad rush to get cash out of Minnesota, after the disgusting crimes have been exposed. John Solomon’s Just the News published a report recently that revealed the the Transportation Security Administration has flagged approximately $700 million in declared US cash being carried out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport over the past two years (2024-2025). This cash was detected in passengers’ luggage via TSA scanners and was legally declared under U.S. regulations, which require disclosure of amounts over $10,000 when leaving the country...

Dozens of Republicans joined all voting Democrats on Wednesday evening to reject a GOP-led effort to eliminate federal funding for a nonprofit organization accused of bias against conservatives. Lawmakers voted 127 to 291 to strip $315 billion in funding for the State Department’s democracy promotion programs, including the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), out of a government funding package, falling well short of a majority. Republican Arizona Rep. Eli Crane, who offered the amendment, argued that although NED has the ostensible goal of promoting democracy, the organization has repeatedly promoted “anti-American objectives” and undermined freedom of speech...

#6 US Senate Defeats War Powers Resolution Designed to Rein in Trump - Allison Griner for AlJazeera, Shirley Nseiri, Eric Daugherty, Bad Hombre, Brian Allen, Clash Report, and Sean David/New York Post on X

United States Vice President JD Vance has cast the tie-breaking vote to defeat a war powers resolution that would have forced President Donald Trump to seek Congress’s approval before taking any further military action in Venezuela. The Senate’s session on Wednesday evening came to a nail-biting conclusion, as the fate of the resolution ended up resting on the shoulders of two Republican politicians. Senators Todd Young of Indiana and Josh Hawley of Missouri had voted last week, as part of a group of five breakaway Republicans, to put the resolution to a full Senate vote. With unanimous support from Democrats, the measure advanced with 52 votes in favour, 47 against...

Several NATO countries are deploying small numbers of military personnel to Greenland to participate in joint exercises with Denmark as US President Donald Trump ramps up his threats to forcibly annex the Arctic island.
