#10 Senate Republicans Seek Tougher Medicaid Cuts and Lower Salt Deduction in Trump’s Big Bill - Lisa Mascaro and Kevin Freking for AP News, The Washington Times, Ann Finley, WanderinWoodsman, Ty Buchanan, and Sahil Kapur on X

Senate Republicans on Monday proposed deeper Medicaid cuts, including new work requirements for parents of teens, as a way to offset the costs of making President Donald Trump’s tax breaks more permanent in draft legislation unveiled for his “big, beautiful bill.” The proposals from Republicans keep in place the current $10,000 deduction of state and local taxes, called SALT, drawing quick blowback from GOP lawmakers from New York and other high-tax states, who fought for a $40,000 cap in the House-passed bill. Senators insisted negotiations continue. The Senate draft also enhances Trump’s proposed new tax break for seniors, with a bigger $6,000 deduction for low- to moderate-income senior households earning no more than $75,000 a year for singles, $150,000 for couples...

#9 Growing Calls for Justice Department to Clean Up Corrupt State Bar of Arizona - Rachel Alexander for UncoverDC, Rj Simon, Melanie Conroy, and Rasmussen Reports/DOGEai on X
Readers of UncoverDC know that for years, Arizona has been a notorious hotbed of corruption and anti-MAGA shenanigans by open-border elites. In a past article on these pages, I shared the backstory of how the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, a quintessential group of establishment RINOs in the greater Phoenix area, blocked legitimate investigations into the 2020 elections. They were able to take these shameless actions because they had succeeded years before in stopping legitimate criminal investigations and indictments of themselves by a former county prosecutor, effectively retaliating against law enforcement. Now, at last, the key agency that has enabled this corruption, the State Bar of Arizona, may finally face a reckoning for its years of targeting conservative prosecutors and destroying the rule of law in the state...

He was a sharpshooter as well as a FEMA instructor during that time.  In an affidavit filed on Friday, a task force officer from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed details about the myriad of online threats that Stinson allegedly made. In one instance, Stinson reportedly wrote that Trump needed to be "[L]uigied" on May 9. The post was a reference to Luigi Mangione, who is accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson last year.
