President Donald Trump's "one big, beautiful bill" passed the House of Representatives early on Thursday morning with few Republican defections. It is a significant victory for House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who navigated deep inter-party friction within the House GOP Conference to deliver a product that few Republican lawmakers ultimately defected from. The bill passed 215 to 214 with just two Republicans, Reps. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, voting against it. All Democrats voted against the bill as well, and House Freedom Caucus Chair Andy Harris, R-Md., voted "present."

Differences between President Trump and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa came to a head Wednesday afternoon in a tense exchange in the Oval Office, as Mr. Trump confronted him over whether White genocide is taking place in South Africa. Mr. Trump and Ramaphosa met for a critical conversation — with South African-born billionaire Elon Musk in the room — amid tensions between the U.S. and South Africa, after the U.S. accepted 59 White Afrikaners last week and granted them status as refugees. At one point in the meeting, Ramaphosa took a question intended for Mr. Trump about what it would take to persuade him that White genocide is not occurring in South Africa.

U.S. health officials knew about the risks of myocarditis from COVID-19 vaccines but downplayed the concern and delayed informing the public about the risks of taking the jab — that is according to a new Senate report released by Sen. Ron Johnson Wednesday. Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, has been investigating the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines. Democrats spent the entirety of former President Joe Biden’s presidency turning a blind eye to what appeared to be a clear mental and physical decline — but after Biden’s stage four prostate cancer diagnosis, they can no longer pretend the president was in control. His cancer, which has a Gleason score of nine and bone metastasis, has been purported by experts to have been progressing for years, which would include his presidency. Now, even the former president’s fiercest supporters are admitting that they were wrong about the president’s health, including Van Jones. “I don’t care who you are, left, right, or otherwise, anybody who cares about this country and about just the dynamics of power, this is the emperor’s new clothes playing itself out in real time,” Jones told Jake Tapper on CNN...
