#10 New Study: Glyphosate Damages Ovaries & Uterus and Lessens Chance of Pregnancy - Tracy Beanz and Michelle Edwards for The HighWire, UncoverDC, Dr. Edward Group, DC, Weston A. Price Foundation, and Sharyl Attkisson on X
The dangers of the contaminated weed killer glyphosate—the most widely used herbicide in the world—cannot be overstated. Thanks to the introduction of genetically modified (GMO) crops in the 1990s, selfishly engineered to resist glyphosate, farmers began spraying the toxic substance directly on crops, boosting its presence in our environment and food supply. Along with significantly disrupting hormones and being labeled as “probably carcinogenic to humans,” recent studies have linked glyphosate to fertility problems and difficulties during pregnancy. Now, a new study published on March 12, 2025, has found that glyphosate significantly damages the ovaries and uterus so severely that it becomes more difficult for women to get pregnant...

#9 Rubio Defends Trump’s Foreign Policy as Democrats Press Him on Gaza Aid and White South Africans - Matthew Lee and Ellen Knickmeyer for AP News, Battalion, Rapid Response 47, C3, Nick Sortor, and The White House on X

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Democratic senators sparred Tuesday over the Trump administration’s foreign policies, ranging from Ukraine and Russia to the Middle East, Latin America, the slashing of the U.S. foreign assistance budget, and refugee admissions. Rubio defended the administration’s decisions to his former colleagues during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, his first since being confirmed on President Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day. He said, “America is back,” and claimed four months of foreign policy achievements, even though many of them remain frustratingly inconclusive. Among them are the resumption of nuclear talks with Iran, efforts to bring Russia and Ukraine into peace talk,s and efforts to end the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas...

President Donald Trump called Rep. Thomas Massie a “grandstander” during his visit to the Capitol Tuesday morning to whip support for his “big, beautiful bill,” after previously calling for other Republicans to wage primary challenges against the Kentucky Republican. Massie said he’s unbothered — and still a “no” on the legislation House GOP leaders hope to pass later this week. “I don’t think he wants to talk about cutting spending,” Massie said of the president’s presentation to the House Republican Conference. “He just said, ‘go after waste, fraud, and abuse.’ … It means: ‘Quit talking about it, Freedom Caucus.’”

#7 Senate Unanimously Approves $25,000 Tax Break for Tipped Workers - Christina Shaw for Fox News, Jay, Benny Johnson, Chicago1Ray, and Max Bonilla on X

The U.S. Senate has passed a new bill that would offer a tax deduction on tips worth up to $25,000. If enacted into law, this bill would also extend to business tax credits for payroll taxes on tips in beauty and spa services. Sen. Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, is pushing the proposal, which passed unanimously—an outcome considered rare for substantive legislation.  There are stipulations in the new bill: an employee with compensation exceeding $160,000 in the prior tax year would not be eligible to claim the new tax deduction for tips. The bill is limited to cash tips received by occupations that are customarily tipped.  "Tipped occupations" are jobs where tips are common in the U.S., such as waiters, waitresses, and professionals providing beauty services like barbering, hair care, nail care, esthetics, body, and spa treatments...

#6 Cuomo Takes Aim at Trump Amid Reports He’s Under DOJ Investigation - Rebecca Falconer for Axios, Liz Churchill, Kyle Becker, Mark R. Levin, and Kate on X

Representatives for Andrew Cuomo, a New York City mayoral race front-runner, on Tuesday questioned the timing of a reported Trump Department of Justice investigation into the former Democratic N.Y. governor. The New York Times first reported that the investigation into Cuomo over decisions he made as governor during the COVID pandemic began about a month ago, after the DOJ moved to have the criminal corruption case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams dismissed. "That puts the Trump administration in the unusual position of having ended a criminal case against the leader of the nation's largest city — Mr. Adams, who is running for re-election as an independent — and opened one into his chief rival, Mr. Cuomo, who is leading the Democratic primary field in the polls, in the span of a few months," the NYT noted...

#5 In ‘Original Sin,’ Jake Tapper Describes a ‘Cover-Up’ of Joe Biden’s Decline - Terry Gross for NPR, Benny Johnson, amuse, WindTalker, Bonchie, and Jason Cohen on X

CNN's Jake Tapper calls his new book a tragedy. Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, which Tapper co-authored with Axios' Alex Thompson, describes two Joe Bidens. "The first one is the one that everybody got to know during his vice presidency," Tapper says. "And the second one was kind of a non-functioning Joe Biden. ... And that non-functioning Biden would rear his head increasingly starting in, like, 2019, 2020. And then, as his term went on, more and more behind the scenes." The book describes a president who failed to recognize longtime political allies, lost his train of thought in important conversations and forgot important dates, including the death of his son, Beau: "We in the public would see some of it in front of the cameras ... but we had no idea how bad it was," Tapper says...

“Freedom is not a theory. It is the right to breathe. It is the right to dress and undress, to sleep without someone’s camera filming your naked body. The Founders wrote liberty in parchment, but hidden cameras erase it in pixels,” Mace said. “I speak not just as a lawmaker, but as a survivor.” The congresswoman displayed a poster board behind her featuring a wide-angle security camera view of a living room with a blurred figure in the doorway. “Behind me is a screenshot from one of the videos I found of myself. The yellow circle, my naked silhouette, is my naked body,” Mace said. “I didn’t know that I had been filmed. I didn’t give my consent. I didn’t give my permission.”

Colorado potentially faces a major lawsuit regarding a new law on transgender protections and how it could violate free speech and parental rights. On Friday, Gov. Now that the bill has passed, the group Defending Education (DE) has sued the state on behalf of the Do No Harm, The Colorado Parent Advocacy Network and Protect Kids Colorado groups out of concerns that the law could violate their free speech rights...
