US representative LaMonica McIver, a Democrat, was charged with assaulting federal agents after a clash outside an immigration detention center in New Jersey, the state’s federal prosecutor announced on Monday. Alina Habba, interim US attorney, said in a post on social media that McIver was facing charges “for assaulting, impeding and interfering with law enforcement” when she visited the detention center along with two other Democratic members of the New Jersey congressional delegation on 9 May. “No one is above the law – politicians or otherwise,” Habba said in a statement. “It is the job of this office to uphold justice impartially, regardless of who you are. Now we will let the justice system work.”
#9 ‘Need to Be Honest’: Vance Questions Biden’s Health as President After Cancer Diagnosis - Joey Garrison for USA TODAY, Vince Langman, Bill Mitchell, Douglas Mackey, Brian Lilley, Joyce Bruns, and Joyreaper on X
Vice President JD Vance questioned whether Joe Biden had been fit for duty in the White House following news the former president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Speaking to reporters on Air Force Two after meeting Pope Leo XIV in Rome, Vance said he wishes the best for Biden, adding that "hopefully he makes the right recovery." Vance then reflected on Biden's four years in the White House. "Whether the right time to have this conversation is now or at some point in the future, we really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job," Vance said. "You can separate the desire for him to have the right health outcome with the recognition that whether it was doctors or whether there were staffers around the former president ‒ I don't think he was able to do a good job for the American people."
#8 President Trump Reacts to Biden's Prostate Cancer Diagnosis - Hollie Silverman for Newsweek, Charlie Kirk, Philip Melanchthon Wegmann, The Independent, and American Wire News on X
President Donald Trump wished Joe Biden a "fast and successful recovery" on Sunday night following the announcement of the former president's aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis. Trump has long criticized Biden, particularly during the 2024 presidential campaign that saw Biden step down due to concerns raised from inside and outside the Democratic Party. Questions swirled about his mental acuity and possible decline as the White House and then-Vice President Kamala Harris fielded questions about his cognitive ability in the final months of his presidency. Trump, 78, placed great emphasis on his physical health, especially during the campaign, during which he contrasted himself against the older Biden, 82. During press conferences, Trump openly mocked "Sleepy Joe" and questioned his ability to lead the country...

Scott Adams, the creator of the ‘Dilbert’ comic strip, has revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. Adams, 67, brought up the diagnosis Monday during a stream on his Rumble account, while discussing former President Joe Biden’s similar prostate cancer diagnosis. “I’ve decided that today’s the day that I’m going to take the opportunity, since a lot of you are here, to make an announcement of my own,” Adams said during his podcast. “Some of you have already guessed, so this won’t surprise you all. But I have the same cancer that Joe Biden has.” “But I’ve had it longer than he’s had it. Well, longer than he’s admitted having it,” Adams added. “So my life expectancy is maybe this summer. I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer.”

President Donald Trump has called for a "major investigation" into several celebrity endorsements former Vice President Kamala Harris received during the 2024 presidential campaign, suggesting without evidence that some of the celebrities were illegally paid for their endorsements. Some of the celebrities have publicly denied denying being paid any fee at all, and experts say there's no FEC law barring campaign payments for endorsements. Among the celebrities the president suggests were illegally paid for their endorsements are Oprah Winfrey, Bruce Springsteen and Beyonce, each of whom appeared at Harris campaign events last year.
#5 FBI Bosses Insist Jeffrey Epstein Killed Himself After Reviewing His File - David Spector for Fox News, Croaky Caiman/Art Candee, Glenn Beck, Amity, Luke Rudkowski, Cernovich, Tony Seruga, and Rising serpent on X
FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino insisted that disgraced financier and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell in an exclusive interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo Sunday. Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York in August 2019. New York City's chief medical examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging. He was set to stand trial on federal charges of sex trafficking of minors. His death instantly triggered a wave of conspiracy theories, with many speculating that he was murdered in order to protect the powerful figures who associated with him. Epstein was a known associate of former President Bill Clinton, former MIT Professor Noam Chomsky, and Prince Andrew. The phrase "Epstein didn’t kill himself" became a viral internet meme in the wake of his death. Patel, however, was adamant that his death was indeed a suicide when questioned by Bartiromo...
#4 How Congress Could Crush Trump’s Qatari Plane Gift - Joe Gould and Connor O'Brien for Politico, Walter Appling, PiQ, Chris Murphy, Fahad Naim, Not Faker/Grok, and Fox News/DOGEai on X
President Donald Trump’s desire to accept a luxury jet from Qatar has hit political turbulence, scrambling the usual battle lines on Capitol Hill as lawmakers weigh action. Trump’s move is deeply unpopular — a gift for Democrats and a reckoning for Republicans. Critics, including within his own party and among MAGA allies, cite security risks, taxpayer cost, and ethical concerns. Democrats are weighing tools to block the deal, such as sticking amendments into defense legislation to stymie it. Even if they can’t get enough frustrated Republicans to vote against the president, the effort could still box in the administration, put pressure on Qatar, and force the GOP into painful political territory.
#3 US Supreme Court Lets Trump End Deportation Protections for 350,000 Venezuelans - Ana Faguy for BBC, Jason Miller, HTown jfp, Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar, Wall Street Mav, and CBS News on X
The US Supreme Court has said it will allow the Trump administration to terminate deportation protections for some 350,000 Venezuelans in the US. The ruling lifts a hold that was placed by a California judge that kept Temporary Protected Status (TPS) in place for Venezuelans whose status would have expired last month. Temporary Protected Status allows people to live and work in the US legally if their home countries are deemed unsafe due to things like countries experiencing wars, natural disasters or other "extraordinary and temporary" conditions. The ruling marks a win for US President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly tried to use the Supreme Court to enact immigration policy decisions...

Trump took to social media to praise the call as having gone "very well" and said, "Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more importantly, an END to the War."
#1 EXCLUSIVE: Cash Flowing Into Anti-ICE Group’s Coffers Came From Chinese Gov’t-Linked Sources - Jason Hopkins and Philip Lenczycki at The Daily Caller, DOGEai/Insurrection Barbie, Arynne Wexler,
Numerous Chinese government-linked entities have bankrolled a nonprofit accused of offering tips on how to evade federal immigration authorities, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found. House Republicans recently launched an investigation into the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) — a New York-based nonprofit that’s been awarded over $1.4 million in taxpayer dollars since 2022 — after an undercover video surfaced purportedly showing CPC staff coaching illegal immigrants on how to avoid Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehension. A review of CPC’s financial records discovered Chinese government-linked sources have been pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into the nonprofit in recent years, raising concerns of potential foreign obstruction of U.S. immigration enforcement...
