#10 Big AG Wants the Same Immunity as Vaccine Companies - Food Integrity Now, Zen Honeycutt, Tracy Beanz, MAHA Action, and GM Watch on X

Bayer/Monsanto, Syngenta/ChemChina, and Dow/Dupont are Brainwashing our Senators to Present Bills to Prevent Cancer Lawsuits Against AgroChemical Companies. Big Ag wants immunity from lawsuits. The rights of individuals, localities, and states to be able to sue agrochemical companies are critically at stake. The plot by Big Ag, via The ModernAgAlliance.org, to pass state-by-state bills, currently in seven states, North Dakota, Wyoming, Missouri, Iowa, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Florida – but we expect there will be bills in twenty-one. In conversation with the American Association with Justice today, we learned that Bayer/Monsanto has just hired 20 agrochemical lobbyists to convince your Senators and Congressmembers that they should enjoy complete immunity from lawsuits, just like the vaccine companies. In other words, they should be able to produce pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides, and as long as the EPA gives them a license to do so (which does not establish safety for human exposure), then they could never be sued for cancer or other harmful impacts due to exposure to their products...

#8 Judge Blocks CIA, DNI From Firing DEI Staffers Under Trump Order - Bart Jansen for USA TODAY, Mark Naughton/Benny Johnson, The Gateway Pundit, Politico, and Forbes on X

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from firing 19 CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence staffers who'd worked on initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, which President Donald Trump had ordered terminated. U.S. District Judge Anthony Trenga in eastern Virginia rejected the request for a temporary block on Trump’s policy on Feb. 27, ruling the staffers could ask for reassignment. But the CIA said the staffers had no right of review over their firings. Trenga shifted course Monday, deciding the intelligence staffers deserved the opportunity to appeal their firings and to be considered for other jobs...

#7 Bill Banning Soda and Candy From Snap Benefits Headed to Idaho Governor - KTVB Staff, Calley Means, Holden Culotta, I Meme Therefore I Am, and American Values on X

The bill sponsors argue that the change would help families prioritize health and nutrition while reducing the state's "out-of-control" Medicaid costs. The bill spent months moving through the Statehouse as lawmakers worked to refine language that critics initially worried was too broad and might prevent the purchase of items like granola bars. Dawn Pierce, Hunger Free America's national director of organizing and community empowerment, called the legislation misleading and harmful. "This is a society-wide problem, not one caused by SNAP," Pierce said. "Low-income families [are] the easy one to blame. It's an overreach, and it further demonizes our neighbors who need help and rely on SNAP." Pierce also expressed concern implementation could be too challenging for grocery stores, particularly in rural areas, potentially leading some to stop accepting SNAP benefits altogether...

The White House framed the move as a push for "commonsense" pricing, the order seeks to combat inflated resale prices and increase transparency throughout the ticket-buying process. Entertainer Kid Rock, wearing a red suit with sequins, stars and stripes, and large, glittering eagle wings on the chest, attended the signing. The move aligns with some consumer protection efforts previously undertaken by the Biden administration, which also targeted hidden "junk fees" and took legal action against Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation, for allegedly monopolizing the live events industry...

Gov. Ron DeSantis is proposing billions of dollars in property tax relief for homestead owners in Florida—and if he gets his way, that could be just the beginning. At a news conference in Orlando on Monday, the governor mentioned a proposal in the Florida House to provide $5 billion per year in sales tax cuts. Texas State Representative Brian Harrison is blasting the leadership of the Texas House after finally getting his hands on a copy of the 1,500-page $340 billion Texas budget. He was then asked to vote on it less than 20 hours later. He posted a video with a printed copy of the budget on his X page with the caption, "I can confirm the House Appropriations Committee will be voting today on the most liberal, bloated budget in Texas history." In the video, he called the budget a "liberal train-wreck" and an "outrage." He also said the budget funds DEI, transgender ideology, and explodes the size of the Texas bureaucracy. Harrison went on to point out what the budget DOESN'T do, saying, "This budget does not put our state on a path to eliminate property taxes. Hell, I'm not even sure there's any real property tax relief whatsoever in this budget." He says the budget is an "outrage" and was written "in secret" and "lawlessly."

#1 Anna Paulina Luna Resigns From House Freedom Caucus, Says ‘Mutual Respect’ Was ‘Shattered’ -  Elizabeth Elkind for Fox News, New York Post, Dr. Carol M. Swain, One America News and Sean Ross Callaghan on X

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., is resigning from the House Freedom Caucus, she announced in a letter to fellow conservatives on Monday. It’s the latest escalation in her fight against House GOP leaders and a small group of members on the right flank of their conference over the issue of proxy voting. Luna has teamed up with Democrats and several other Republicans on a mechanism aimed at forcing consideration of legislation that allows new parents in the House to vote remotely for 12 weeks around their baby’s birth. “I have consistently supported each of you, even in moments of disagreement, honoring the mutual respect that has guided our caucus,” Luna wrote. “That respect, however, was shattered last week.” The focus of her anger is a brief incident from earlier this month when a group of House conservatives held up a chamber-wide vote on unrelated legislation to press GOP leaders to kill Luna’s measure – known as a “discharge petition.”
