An FBI agent who accused the bureau of political bias during President Donald Trump's first administration was arrested Monday in New York on charges related to the alleged unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, according to court documents filed Tuesday. Johnathan Buma, a 15-year veteran of the bureau, allegedly shared text messages, internal documents, and other sensitive information with associates, including as part of a prospective book he began writing about his career as an FBI agent. Beginning in Oct. 2023, Buma "printed approximately 130 files from the FBI's internal network ... some of which were clearly marked with warnings that made clear that the information was to be protected," according to charging documents...

The tide may have turned for an FBI whistleblower who has been battling the bureau for more than two years since he was stripped of security clearance and suspended without pay. Lawyers for Special Agent Garret O’Boyle see a chance for him to start rebuilding his life now that President Trump has installed a new regime at FBI headquarters. Mr. O’Boyle’s lawyers filed an appeal Wednesday to the FBI seeking a review of the disciplinary action against him, arguing it was retaliation against a protected whistleblower. They want the FBI to immediately reinstate his security clearance and restore him to full employment status, ending a 30-month ordeal in which he could not quit the bureau or find gainful employment elsewhere...

But, the internet is divided over his allegedly seedy behavior. Eleven women have publicly called out Harry Sisson, 23, claiming the Irish influencer with 1.8 million followers on TikTok led them on by claiming they were exclusive and getting them to send him explicit pics. Sisson built up a huge following in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election for his posts in support of Biden and even interviewed the then-commander-in-chief in May...
#4 Republican Senator Says Chuck Schumer ‘About as Popular as Chlamydia’ Among Dems After Voting With GOP - Charlie Nash for Mediaite, The Vigilant Fox, Twitchy Team, and Orin Ulysses Rascal on X
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) told Fox News on Wednesday that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) had become “about as popular as chlamydia” among Democrats after he voted with Republicans to pass a GOP-backed spending bill. After Fox News host Sean Hannity suggested that Schumer’s “days could be numbered” following the controversy, Kennedy said: "I don’t hate anybody, and that includes Senator Schumer. He’s very smart. On the other hand, Chuck’s often wrong. He never makes the same mistake twice, he makes it five or six times just to be sure. But this time, he got it right in supporting our efforts to keep government open. Unless a football coach taught you history, you understand that shutting government down never achieves anything. It just scares people, especially the elderly. Having said that, many Democrats are angry at Schumer. Among them right now, we’ve all seen the news; he’s about as popular as chlamydia."

On Wednesday, a nine-person jury at the Morton County courthouse in south-central North Dakota awarded more than $660 million in damages to Energy Transfer and its subsidiary Dakota Access, according to calculations from Greenpeace. The company accused Greenpeace USA, parent group Greenpeace International, and funding arm Greenpeace Fund Inc. of paying protesters to disrupt the pipeline's construction and spreading misinformation about the controversial project... Americans anticipating a huge release of newly redacted documents on Tuesday night about the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy got at least some of what they were expecting, but experts say it will take time to sort out the importance of the most recent information dump. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration says it released about 63,000 pages across more than 2,100 PDF files, a stunning volume of information for historians and amateur sleuths to comb through. Much, if not most, of the information has been released by prior administrations in at least partially redacted, or blacked out, form to protect names of CIA assets and other sensitive information...
