Top Democrats have slammed Donald Trump’s plans to impose serious tariffs on the US’s neighbors and allies, warning that they will hit working families and small businesses hard, even as the president said any pain they suffered would be “worth the price”. Chuck Schumer, the minority leader in the US Senate, led the charge by saying the president’s threatened tariffs would likely “hit Americans in their wallets”. “It would be nice if Donald Trump could start focusing on getting the prices down instead of making them go up.” Schumer added that the White House should set its sights on “competitors who rig the game, like China, rather than attacking our allies”

#2 Republicans Stand on the Brink of a Historic Opportunity to End Government’s Role in Student Loans - Andrew Gillen for CATO Institute, Allen Mendenhall, Tim Lybarger, Robby Starbuck/Colin Wright
Republicans have their best opportunity in decades to significantly reform or even eliminate government involvement in student loans. As I explain in a new Cato Institute paper, doing so could generate up to $212 billion in savings over the next ten years. But Congress needs to act quickly as the window of opportunity will close soon. This opportunity rests on a series of relatively simple points, which nevertheless add up to a very exciting possibility...#1 ‘This Needs To Stop Now’—Elon Musk Confirms Radical Doge U.S. Treasury Plan - Billy Bambrough for Forbes, Elon Musk/Penny2x, Robby Starbuck, Benny Johnson, The SCIF, Shadow of Ezra, and The Gateway Pundit on X
