The companies did not reveal financial details of the agreement or where in the U.S. the plants would be built. He also noted that the state would be contributing $9.5 million for infrastructure recovery following the storm, which was the second hurricane to hit the state in two weeks. Nearly a week after Hurricane Milton left a trail of destruction in Florida, power should be restored to all residents by Tuesday night, according to state and utility company officials...

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) vented his frustration with the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC aligned with Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.), for not spending any money in his competitive reelection race, accusing McConnell of using the group to “punish” his critics in the Senate GOP conference. “Mitch McConnell runs the largest Republican super PAC in the country and has $400 million, but that super PAC is used to reward the Republican senators who obey him and to punish those who dare to stand up to him,” Cruz told conservative talk show host Mark Levin during a recent interview...

From there, the group is expected to disperse and find various ways to reach the U.S. border. Monique Lamar-Silvia, a 64-year-old pageant organizer and prison minister, is a member of the city council of Saginaw, Michigan, a blue-collar city of some 44,000 residents located about 100 miles northwest of Detroit. She is also among the 11 candidates currently vying this year for five seats on the council with four-year terms...
#3 Democrat Actors Give Terrible Performance As Men Until You Realize What Their Real Goal Is - Gage Klipper for The Daily Caller, Tracy Beanz, and Twitchy Team on X
So those big strong men who came out and stooped for Kamala Harris? It turns out they were only pretending to be manly men. As if you couldn’t tell. To anyone who’s ever met an actual human man, the act was as obvious as the Adam’s apple on the “woman” making your Starbucks latte. But the cringe-worthy video was never really meant to appeal to men. The already infamous video shows several men melodramatically claiming they’re “man enough” to vote for the first female president of color. They’re supposed to be some real red-blooded Americans, but it turns out they’re mostly cut-rate actors with IMDB pages...
#2 Young Girls Hijacked: The Destructive Domino Effect of Endocrine Disruptors - Tracy Beanz and Michelle Edwards for The HighWire and on X
For decades, significant evidence has existed regarding the connection between endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and early puberty in girls. Also called precocious puberty, this means puberty starts before age eight in girls. Concerns about the effects of EDCs on hormone regulation began to emerge as early as the 1970s, and the direct link between EDCs and early puberty in girls became more straightforward in the 1990s and early 2000s. Yet, here we are in 2024, and little headway has been made to address this critical issue. Despite knowing for nearly half a century the dangerous role EDCs play in impairing our young girls—and over 4,500 taxpayer-funded studies on endocrine disruptors—apparently, we continue to loop back to square one, and here’s an example. An article published on September 13 in the Environmental Working Group (EWG), titled “New study suggests environmental chemicals can trigger early puberty in girls,” sounds like it is warning us for the first time. The first paragraph announces: “A worrying trend of girls starting puberty earlier is raising questions about whether chemical exposures play a role. Now, a new study suggests a link between certain chemicals in everyday products like fragrances and cleaners and how they can disrupt the hormones in the brain involved in puberty.”
#1 Next-Level Vote-Buying: Harris Promises Black Men $20k 'Forgivable Loans' - Tyler Durden ZeroHedge, and Kamala Harris on X
On track to post Democrats' worst presidential-election performance with blacks in 64 years, a desperate Kamala Harris smashed the vote-buying button on Monday, proposing an "Opportunity Agenda" for black men that includes dishing out one million "forgivable loans" at $20,000 each. The loans would be offered to black entrepreneurs "in partnership with trusted organizations like mission-driven lenders and banks with a proven commitment to their communities," the Harris-Walz campaign said. If these "forgivable loans" are anything like the ones dished out to businesses during the madness of the COVID-19 stimulus, they'll be loans in name only -- meaning this is just a blatant wealth redistribution scheme aimed at buying black votes. Unsurprisingly, the campaign provided few details about the program's requirements -- such as just how black one will need to be to qualify...

Pumpkin Weighing 2,471 Pounds Wins California Contest - AP News, No Comment, and Fox54News on X
A Minnesota horticulture teacher remained the reigning champion Monday of an annual pumpkin-weighing contest in Northern California, where his massive gourds have won the top prize four years in a row. Travis Gienger, of Anoka, Minnesota, beat his closest competitor by 6 pounds (2.7 kilograms) to clinch the victory at the 51st World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay, south of San Francisco. His winning gourd came in at 2,471 pounds (1,121 kilograms), falling short of the world record he set last year with a pumpkin weighing 2,749 pounds (1,247 kilograms). Gienger, 44, said that, as he has done in the past, he focused on having healthy soil and well-fed plants, but a cold fall with record-breaking rain likely impacted his pumpkin’s growth...
