#10 Top Court Rules X Can Be Reinstated in Brazil - Miranda Nazzaro for The Hill, Reuters Legal, Naomi Seibt, and ET Tech on X
A top Brazilian Supreme Court justice ruled Tuesday that the social platform X can be restored in Brazil, more than a month after the high court suspended the site for failing to comply with court demands. The ruling by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, made public Tuesday, caps off a months-long feud between de Moraes and X owner Elon Musk over the platform’s speech moderation, far-right accounts, and misinformation. Tensions between Musk and de Moraes escalated in August when X closed its office in Brazil after the judge ordered the platform to remove posts from the site. If X failed to comply, the judge said he would levy a daily fine of $3,650 and an arrest decree against its representative, Rachel de Oliveira Villa Nova Conceição.

#6 Fasting Activates Cell Repair Mechanism, Reverses Disease - Tyler Durden ZeroHedge, Sean OMara MD, JD, and Michael Ahimbisibwe on X
Fasting helps with weight loss and activates the body’s autophagy, allowing deep-seated cell repair and improving cell health. As a result, fasting has been found to help prevent various diseases, slow aging, and effectively treat some illnesses. Autophagy is an important function that every cell possesses. As the name suggests, it means self-engulfing and is an essential cellular self-cleaning process. Each cell contains multiple parts that keep it functioning continuously. Over time, these parts may become defective or stop performing and become waste inside an otherwise healthy cell. For example, when damaged proteins, discarded organelles, or other wastes appear inside our cells, the efficiency of normal cell operation is reduced...
#5 Outside Conservative Groups Are Leading Trump’s Ground Game. That Might Be A Good Thing - M.D. Kittle for The Federalist, Faith and Freedom, Remso W. Martinez, and Conservative Librarian on X
ith just a few weeks to Election Day and early voting already underway in several states, it’s peak time for the “ground game” that campaigns have spent months preparing. Back in May, on-the-ground Republican operatives voiced concerns to The Federalist that the Republican National Committee’s operations weren’t keeping pace with grassroots in swing states. Now, as Election Day nears, a narrative has emerged in the corporate media about the Trump campaign’s “paltry” ground game. Despite the grousing by some in the GOP, outside groups, including political action committees like the Sentinel Action Fund, are working to match Democrats at their own game. They are mining data, reaching low-propensity voters, and employing cutting-edge technology to create meaningful connections...

The Liberty Justice Center sent a demand letter on Oct. 1 requesting the documents on behalf of the plaintiffs, but the union instead retaliated against the members after requesting their identity under the guise of verifying their union membership, according to a press release...
#2 An Aging Volunteer Service - Is Amateur Radio Still Needed? - David Setliff for UncoverDC, Ken Van Wyke (KrVW), and Dwayne Phillips on X
As the disaster unfolds in North Carolina, I am reminded of other significant events that have affected entire communities in one form or another. From hurricanes to wildfires, earthquakes, or any other major incident, one thing is getting less and less recognition these days, and that is the amateur radio service. Yeah, I get it. There is a perception that it's just a bunch of elderly gentlemen sitting around smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee, listening to the ether, and pounding some morse code to some contact halfway around the world. Or maybe they are repeating CQ CQ CQ into a microphone and listening for a return call. They will spend a bunch of money on equipment, experiment with antennas and electronics, and even try to implement newer technology into what they do. Some might look at it and call all of this a hobby or even a waste of time, but it's not because all of this may be needed for more than just talking to Japan or Croatia for fun...#1 Hurricane Milton Slams Into Florida’s West Coast With 120-Mph Winds, Leaving 3M Without Power - The New York Post, Ron DeSantis, Mario Nawfal, David J.
