#10 Trump and Musk Talk About Assassination Attempt and Deportations During Glitchy Chat on X - Meg Kinnard and Steve Peoples for AP News, Donald Trump, Doge Designer, Ian Miles Cheong
Donald Trump recounted his assassination attempt in vivid detail and promised the largest deportation in U.S. history during a high-profile return to the social media platform formerly known as Twitter — a conversation that was plagued by technical glitches. “If I had not turned my head, I would not be talking to you right now — as much as I like you,” Trump told X’s owner Elon Musk. Musk, a former Trump critic, said the Republican nominee’s toughness, as demonstrated by his reaction to last month’s shooting, was critical for national security. “There’s some real tough characters out there,” Musk said. “And if they don’t think the American president is tough, they will do what they want to do.”
#9 FBI Says It Is Investigating After Trump Campaign Said Sensitive Documents Were Hacked by Iran - Zeke Miller and Michael Balsamo for AP News, WSIL News on X
The FBI is investigating allegations that sensitive documents from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign were stolen in a cyber intrusion, as well as attempts to gain access to Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, days after the Trump campaign declared it had been hacked by Iran. The FBI released a brief statement on the Trump matter reading, “We can confirm the FBI is investigating this matter.” The Trump campaign provided no specific evidence of Iran’s involvement, but the claim came shortly after Microsoft issued a report detailing foreign agents’ attempts to interfere in the U.S. election in 2024. The report cited an instance of an Iranian military intelligence unit in June sending “a spear-phishing email to a high-ranking official of a presidential campaign from a compromised email account of a former senior advisor.”

Loudoun County gained national attention over battles in its school board following a series of sexual assaults. The county is just west of Washington, D.C...
#7 CNN Interviewer Doesn’t Like It When Jd Vance Turns the Tables on Tim Walz Regarding ‘Weird’ Attack - Samuel Short for The Western Journal, Sebastian Gorka and Collin Rugg on X
As sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, CNN will run damage control for the Democratic Party. In an interview posted to YouTube on Sunday, CNN’s Dana Bash sat down with Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance on the network’s “State of the Union” to discuss all things relevant to the upcoming general election. Because Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, do not a platform, their campaign has largely devolved into touting good “vibes” and calling former President Donald Trump and Vance, “weird.”

When Brooke Huckaby decided to run for mayor, the 21-year-old knew she was the youngest candidate of her tiny Georgia hometown. But it wasn’t until her swearing in ceremony in January that she found out she holds the title as the country’s youngest ever female mayor. “When I found out I was the youngest mayor in Georgia history, I was like, wow, that’s really cool,” says Brooke. “But when I found out I was the youngest female mayor in United States history, I was like, Oh, my gosh, I wasn’t trying to start a record or anything.”
#5 New York Times Upsets Liberals With New Endorsement Policy: ‘What a Terrible Decision' - Joseph A. Wulfsohn for Fox News, Chaskel Bennett, and Michael Power on X
The New York Times is facing blowback from New York City progressives and journalists over its decision to stop making endorsements in state and local races. The Times itself first reported on the move and how "the change will be immediate," saying that the paper "does not plan to take a stance in Senate, congressional or state legislative races in New York this fall, or in next year’s New York City elections," which includes New York City Mayor Eric Adams' reelection bid. "As the institutional voice of The Times, the editorial board serves our mission to help our global audience understand the world by providing a consistent, independent view of the world based on time-tested institutional values," Times opinion editor Kathleen Kingsbury said in a statement given to Fox News Digital...
#4 ICE Updates On Illegal Alien Crimes Will "Make Your Head Spin" - Tyler Durden ZeroHedge
President Biden's appointed "border czar," Kamala Harris, has single-handedly failed the American people. She owes citizens a straightforward explanation of why this administration facilitated the greatest illegal alien invasion this nation has ever seen. Some of these migrants are on the FBI terror watchlist. "In less than four years, the Biden-Harris Administration has released into the United States more than 5.4 million illegal aliens, with another 1.9 million illegal alien 'gotaways' escaping into the country during the same time," GOP House Judiciary Committee wrote in a report last week. The report also revealed about 100 illegal aliens that crossed the border were on the terrorist "watch list." Biden officially tasked VP Harris on March 24, 2021, "to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle…in stemming the movement of…migration to our southern border." The illegal alien invasion began shortly after VP Harris became border czar.

Nearly 2.7 billion personal information records for people in the United States have been posted to a popular hacking forum, exposing names, addresses, and even Social Security numbers. The data allegedly comes from a company that collects and sells the data for legitimate use, but was stolen and put up for sale in April 2024. Originally, a threat actor known as USDoD claimed to have stolen the information from National Public Data. National Public Data scrapes the information from public sources, uses it to compile individual profiles, and then sells those portfolios. The company serves private investigators as well as entities needing to conduct background checks and obtain criminal records...
#2 The Sly Trick Conservatives Have Discovered to Fight DEI at Boeing, Pepsico, and Across Corporate America - James Reinl For The Daily Mail, Sally on X
The shareholder meetings of corporate America have long been a venue for progressive campaigners to push diversity-hiring targets and other pet causes. Now, conservatives are using the same tactics against their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. Behind the doors of boardrooms and annual meetings, right-wing shareholders are putting proposals designed to thwart DEI efforts up for votes. While they're not yet gaining traction, they are gaining pace. As recently as 2021, prominent conservative investors only filed a single anti-DEI proposal...

Democrats will invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in registering and turning out voters living abroad to help the party win crucial swing state elections in November, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced Monday. The $300,000 investment is earmarked for an organization called Democrats Abroad, which works to mobilize members of the Democratic Party living in foreign countries to vote and engage in liberal activism, according to the DNC. Democrats say this is the first time in a presidential election that they have funded voter outreach to the millions of Americans living abroad, only 8% of whom the DNC claims are registered to vote...

Broken Arrow Nursing Home Employee Paints Murals for Residents - Alexa Mostrom for Fox 23, Spectrum News WI, Evolve Myself, Gary Scribbler on X
At Broken Arrow Nursing Home, they don’t say if these walls could talk, they say these walls are talked to. Claudia Ramsey Wilson said her art brings comfort to the people who live there and they will often talk to the characters in her paintings. “A lot of times if I’m wondering what I’m gonna paint and it doesn’t come right to me, one of the residents will walk by and give me a suggestion,” said Wilson. Wilson has been painting at the nursing home for the last 20 years. She used to work in activities at the home, but one day her boss asked her to paint something. “My boss came to me and asked if I could paint a front porch for a lady who missed her home and her porch and I said sure, I can do this. That just left the whole thing wide open for me after that,” said Wilson. Since then, Wilson has painted nearly every wall at the nursing home. “I paint what I hear them say they miss and they’ve had in their life, and my life as well,” said Wilson. Wilson said she has a special connection to this home...
