House Republicans are demanding a briefing from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) over the CIA’s alleged interference with investigations related to President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. On Tuesday, the chairmen of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees sent a letter to CIA Director William Burns requesting a staff-level briefing by agency personnel to explain previous denials that the CIA interfered to block an interview of Biden associate Patrick Kevin Morris. The letter was a follow-up to one sent in March seeking records related to allegations from federal whistleblowers who claim the CIA blocked the interview of Morris... GOP Congressman Dan Newhouse is introducing a proposal aimed at blocking businesses and individuals linked to the Chinese Communist Party from buying land near federal properties. Newhouse, a Republican from Washington state who serves on the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, is anticipated to present the bill on Tuesday evening. The “No American Land for Communist China Act” has 20 cosponsors, including the support of committee Chairman John Moolenaar, R-Mich. The legislation states that it would “prohibit certain businesses and persons from purchasing real estate adjacent to covered Federal lands in the United States, and for other purposes.” Six Russian nationals suspected to have terror ties to ISIS have been arrested in a coordinated sting operation spanning Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia, The Post can exclusively reveal. Two ICE sources confirmed to The Post they arrested the six people, who hail from Tajikistan, over the last week after the FBI contacted the agency to warn it. Two others who were part of the same group were also arrested after being under surveillance for “several months” by a multi-agency Joint Terrorism Task Force, according to NBC. Part of the investigation featured a wiretap which revealed one of the now-arrested individuals was talking about bombs, the sources said... Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), in a letter on Tuesday, urged Republican leaders on the House Appropriations Committee to stop the U.S. government from partnering with Ukrainian actors targeting Americans after a Ukrainian non-governmental organization published an enemies list consisting of American lawmakers, think tanks and media figures who questioned or opposed sending more taxpayer aid to Ukraine. Banks sent letters to Americans on the list — including X and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk — informing them that he has asked Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) and State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman Mario Diaz Balart (R-FL) to stop the State Department and USAID from partnering with any actors overseas who encourage the harassment of Americans... Yesterday, Blaze News reported that a shadowy Ukrainian NGO called “Texty.org” had placed Blaze Media and Glenn Beck on its enemies list for supposedly spreading “Russian propaganda and disinformation.” While masquerading as an independent journalism organization, the outlet tweeted "claims that […] Texty.org’s editorial team is trained or funded by the U.S. government are outright lies.” Last night, Return uncovered this to be a demonstratable lie by the organization and that it is, in fact, funded with U.S. tax dollars by several American agencies and funding and partnerships tied to the George Soros-led Open Society Foundations. Four Democrat leaders were arrested and charged this week with election fraud in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The voter fraud was tied to a 2019 mayoral primary race. Bridgeport City Councilman Alfredo Castillo, Vice Chair of Bridgeport’s Democrat Party Wanda Geter-Pataky were charged with election tampering. Two campaign workers Nilsa Heredia and Josephine Edmonds were charged with election fraud and unlawfully possessing another person’s absentee ballot... MSNBC host Rachel Maddow is "worried" former President Trump could throw her in jail or even some sort of camp for high-profile liberals if he’s victorious in November. Maddow, who has largely built her program around passionate criticism of Trump for years, famously pushed since-debunked theories tying the former president to Russia. Now she’s concerned Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, will weaponize the government and throw his media critics in jail if he defeats President Biden in November. "I'm worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people and to ‘root out’ what he’s described in subhuman terms as his ‘enemy from within.’ Again, history is helpful here. He’s not joking when he says this stuff, and we’ve seen what happens when people take power proclaiming that kind of agenda," Maddow told CNN, adding that Trump would also go after his political rivals...
