The United States and Iran reached an initial agreement Monday that would extend their shaky ceasefire and lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, but significant challenges remain, including whether Israel will continue its offensive in Lebanon. Details of the agreement were not immediately released, but it appeared that it would not be implemented until it is signed, which mediator Pakistan said would happen Friday in Geneva. Until then, shipping will likely remain restricted in the strait, which is a crucial passage for the world’s oil and gas, and the closure of which has sparked a global energy crisis...

Crossing a red carpet adorned by red and blue stars atop a white border, America’s Donald Trump and the UFC’s Dana White soon arrived at a 30-foot cage where men were moments away from punching, kicking, and choking each other until someone either went to sleep, tapped, or a referee stepped in to stop it. The mixed martial arts extravaganza saw 14 fighters compete Sunday night underneath a 92-foot structure called “The Claw” that was set up just steps away from the most important office in the world...#3 Sean Strickland Thrown Out of UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest by Security After Sneaking In - Erich Richter for New York Post, Eric Ash/BRITAIN IS BROKEN, ZeroBarkThirty(2), Piers Morgan/Valentina O, Greggolo01, and Marjorie Taylor Greene/Jenny Carter/Erikaaa on X

Anthropic is meeting with White House officials this week in an attempt to overturn a ban on its most advanced AI models, which was reportedly put in place after Amazon’s CEO spoke with members of the Trump administration. The US government told the artificial intelligence company to suspend all use by foreign nationals of its Mythos 5 and Fable 5 models last week, citing “national security” concerns. The ban includes foreign national Anthropic employees, according to the firm, meaning the Claude creator was forced to “abruptly disable” the models for all customers in order to ensure compliance. “The government believes it has become aware of a method of bypassing, or ‘jailbreaking’ Fable 5,” Anthropic said in a statement... The U.K. will ban social media from offering services to under-16s, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Monday, as governments around the world face mounting pressure to ensure child safety online. The ban could include platforms like Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X. The first set of regulations could take effect as soon as spring 2027. The U.K. plans to model its approach on landmark Australian legislation passed late last year, but the country will go further by introducing additional restrictions on features deemed particularly harmful to children. These include blocking livestreaming and communication with strangers for users under 16, while similar protections will be enabled by default for 16- and 17-year-olds. The government is also considering overnight curfews and measures to limit infinite scrolling for minors... Fox News' Joey Jones reacts to a petition aiming to ban hunting and fishing in Oregon.
