Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pepper-sprayed Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) and protesters on Monday in Newark. Demonstrators gathered outside Delaney Hall, an immigrant detention facility where some inmates are on a hunger strike to protest conditions at the facility. According to NJ.com, Kim attempted to broker an agreement between agents and protesters to try to defuse the situation. At one point, agents started pushing the crowd back and began firing projectiles containing chemical irritants. The senator reportedly placed himself between the crowd and agents, putting his arms up, as if to say, “Stop.”

The University of Miami golf commit claims that a homeless man has been stalking and harassing her. Kai Trump officially filed a petition in Palm Beach County Court against a 26-year-old man named Gabriel Garza Jr. The judge granted the restraining order. “A judge granted Kai — Don Jr. and Vanessa Trump’s firstborn — a temporary restraining order in April, which restricts Gabriel from stalking, cyberstalking, or committing any criminal offense resulting in physical injury or death,” TMZ Sports reported...

At least five officers were struck by a driver during a “teen takeover” event early Sunday in Chicago’s West Side, only the latest in the viral trend hitting American streets. Elsewhere, 19 people were shot and wounded on Memorial Day in the Windy City. Hundreds of teenagers gathered at around 3:20 a.m. along Chicago’s South Loomis Street, shutting the street down as officers responded to disperse the chaos. The team from the Charles Darwin Foundation had just discovered a new species of octopus about 5,900 feet below the water's surface, according to research published on Monday.
