#1 Talarico Says CBS Decision to Not Air ‘Late Show’ Interview ‘Should Be Alarming to All of Us’ - Sarah Davis for The Hill, Nick Sortor, Joshua Reed Eakle, Leigh Wolf, Margo Cleveland, Leftism/Brian Stelter, Caroline Downey/Keith Edwards, and Good Lawgic on X
“The Late Show was not prohibited by CBS from broadcasting the interview with Rep. James Talarico,” a spokesperson for the network said. “The show was provided legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal-time rule for two other candidates, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and presented options for how the equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled.”

#2 Republican Congressman’s Anti-Muslim Remark Prompts Calls for His Resignation - Ben Kamisar for NBC News, Congressman Randy Fine, Ada Lluch, Gunther Eagleman, Megyn Kelly, and Fred on X
Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., prompted calls for his resignation from Democrats and a major Islamic civil rights group after suggesting in a social media post that he'd choose dogs over Muslims.

"If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one," Fine posted to the social media platform X on Sunday. Shortly afterward, he added a photo of a post from Nerdeen Kiswani, the co-founder of the pro-Palestinian group Within Our Lifetime, in which she called dogs "unclean" and said that "NYC is coming to Islam." Kiswani later told NBC News in an email that she made the comment satirically...

#3 Zohran Mamdani Unveils Record $127B Budget — Fueled by Proposed NYC Property Tax Hike - New York Post, James Woods, 𝓔𝓶 ♡/Autism Capital, Libs of TikTok, Marty O'Donnell, and Geiger Capital on X

Mayor Zohran Mamdani issued Gov. Kathy Hochul a stunning ultimatum Tuesday while unveiling his $127 billion budget proposal – tax the rich or he’ll raise property taxes by nearly 10%. The eye-popping preliminary spending plan for the 2027 fiscal year would increase the city’s budget by a whopping $11 billion from 2026, and contains few cuts. But the Democratic socialist brazenly claimed he would be “forced” to hit the pocketbooks of everyday New Yorkers if Hochul and Albany don’t comply with his push to raise income taxes on the wealthy...

#4 NYC Election Integrity Threat Exposed: Officials Admit to Ignoring Citizenship Checks - Anthony Rubin for Muckraker, RAW EGG NATIONALIST,  Fox News, Viral News NYC, and Josh on X
We went undercover at the NYC Board of Elections, posing as non-citizens. The Board of Elections worker we spoke to admitted non-citizens register to vote and said he'd submit our (illegal) application and not report it.
"Once in a while. . . we have people come in here. . . and they register, they weren't a citizen. . ." "That's not my job to report anyone." "We accept anything that comes over the counter." How many non-citizens are registered to vote in the United States?

#6 Dr Oz Details ‘Weaponization of Fraud’ in Minnesota, Estimates Total Medicaid Fraud to Be $100 Billion - Marc Tamasco for Fox News/MSN, MAHA Action, MAGAMicki,
US/UKsportsHQ, Deneb, and Michael J Franklin on X

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz detailed Tuesday what he described as the "weaponization of fraud" in Minnesota, estimating that Medicaid fraud nationwide totals roughly "$100 billion." Appearing on "The Katie Miller Podcast," Oz was asked by host Katie Miller what the "most shocking thing" he saw taking place in Minnesota was during his investigation into the alleged widespread fraud taking place in the state. "The weaponization of fraud," he responded. "When you're elected to office, there's some rules that you're obliged to follow, but there's always the opportunity for political patronage."

#7 New Subpoenas Issued in Inquiry on Response to 2016 Russian Election Interference - Eric Tucker for AP News, Troy Record, Headline USA, Positive4sure, Maximus Ultra Magamus, and Ben on X

The Justice Department has issued new subpoenas in a Florida-based investigation into perceived adversaries of President Donald Trump and the U.S. government’s response to Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, according to multiple people familiar with the matter. An initial wave of subpoenas in November asked recipients for documents related to the preparation of a U.S. intelligence community assessment that detailed a sweeping, multiprong effort by Moscow to help Trump defeat Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election...

#8 When the FDA Finally Means NO - Tracy Beanz & Michelle Edwards for The HighWire, Moderna, Markets Today, Prof Jeffrey S Morris, and truththat on X

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) didn’t “deny” Moderna’s mRNA flu shot in the way most people associate with a rejection. The agency didn’t convene a panel or run a full review. It did something colder and more compelling. It sent a Refusal to File letter. That is the bureaucratic equivalent of sliding Moderna’s paperwork back across the counter to them and saying, “We’re not even opening this.” According to Moderna, the letter is dated February 3, 2026, and blocks the FDA from starting a substantive review of the company’s biologics license application for its investigational seasonal influenza “vaccine,” mRNA-1010...

#9 Florida Gubernatorial Hopeful James Fishback Faces Eligibility Questions Over D.C. Homestead Claim - Frank Kopylov for Florida's Voice, James Fishback/
Otis ( thereelOG ) Guffey, Politics1.com/Max, and Florida Bullfrog on X

Republican gubernatorial candidate James Fishback, who has raised significantly less than his rivals, is under renewed scrutiny after a new Washington, D.C., property tax bill dated Feb. 17, 2026, revealed he claimed a homestead deduction on a D.C. property, indicating it as his primary residence, despite his campaign’s insistence that he is a lifelong Floridian qualified to run for governor. The bill obtained by Florida’s Voice, showing a homestead reduction of $781.58 on taxes due, has intensified accusations that Fishback may not meet Florida’s constitutional requirement of seven years’ residency in the state preceding the election. Florida law defines residency as domicile, meaning the place where an individual intends to make their permanent home, and claiming a homestead exemption elsewhere can undermine such claims...

#10 The Proposed Farm Bill Has Been Released, and Here Is the Important Information About the Pesticide Protection Provision (Ppp) and What You Can Do! - Science, Public Health Policy and the Law, MAHA Action, Zach Lahn, gabybaby69420, Agri-Pulse Communications, whydontyoucare, and GMWatch on X

Here is the Farm Bill, or what is left of it, after the One Big Beautiful Bill established what most of the funding would be that is normally part of the Farm Bill. Still, much remains. The proposed Farm Bill is still 802 pages. The pesticide protection provision can be found on pages 685-687. What this section (actually Sections 10205-10211) does is what Rep. Spencer of Idaho mistakenly claimed the Appropriations rider did last summer. Unlike that rider, the language here is quite clear. It seems obvious to me that various permutations of language were discussed by the industry and lobbyists, and placed in different state and federal bills, and Spencer had been coached on earlier language, as well as coached to lie about the meaning of the bill. Maybe he can be trotted out to opine on the meaning of this provision. Anyway…
