#1 FAA Abruptly Closes El Paso Airspace for 10 Days Over Unspecified Security Concerns - Karina Tsui and Diego Mendoza for CNN, Nick Sortor, Michael Scott Moore, Rockin' The 904 Like A Boss/Open Source Intel, candice kitty reese. ❯❯❯❯, and Fox & Friends on X

The Federal Aviation Administration abruptly issued a temporary flight restriction that immediately grounds all flights to and from El Paso International Airport in Texas for 10 days — a shutdown that’s likely to create significant disruptions in one of America’s largest cities. The sudden pause over El Paso, along with an area of southern New Mexico, is due to “special security reasons,” according to the FAA’s website. The FAA did not provide additional details. An FAA notice classifies the area as “(National) Defense Airspace” and says pilots who violate the restriction could be intercepted, detained and questioned by law enforcement. It warns that additional actions could be taken for pilots who don’t adhere to the restrictions, including suspension of flight certifications, criminal charges, and that the US government “may use deadly force” if an aircraft poses an “imminent security threat.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi is testifying before the House Judiciary Committee this morning, where she is expected to face questions from lawmakers about her handling of the release of records related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Support for President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda is in free fall in early 2026 after federal immigration agents shot and killed two Americans last month, according to a new NBC News Decision Desk Poll powered by SurveyMonkey. Most Americans also support an overhaul of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the poll found. Trump is meeting with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House today, where the two leaders are expected to discuss negotiations with Iran over it's nuclear program...

#3 Left-Wing Groups Defiant as GOP Sheds Light on Groups Tied to China - Fox News, Extra! Extra!, Amicus Curiae, Dagmar Unger/Spotlight on China, EuroPost Agency, Jewish Onliner, and Antifa’s Mother/House Republicans

As House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith dropped the gavel at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday opening a hearing on "malign foreign influence," the groups under scrutiny did not retreat, apologize or go silent. They escalated. Inside Room 1100 of the Longworth House Office Building, Smith warned that the U.S. nonprofit sector had become a vulnerability exploited by foreign adversaries. Outside the hearing room — across social media — far-left organizations tied to Marxist tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham, born in the U.S. and living in Shanghai, pressed forward with rhetoric vilifying the United States for its alleged "colonial policies" and "imperialism" and amplifying narratives aligned with the Chinese Communist Party, or CCP, and communist allies like Cuba.

#4 House to Vote on the Save America Act as GOP Makes Election Bill Push - Kaia Hubbard and Caitlin Yilek for CBS News, Erick Erickson/Steve J., redbikegirl/The Chris Salcedo Show, 𝕏 Post Facto, James Boyd, and Derrick Evans on X

The House is set to vote Wednesday on the SAVE America Act, which would implement strict new requirements for registering to vote and casting ballots, moves that Democrats have warned would disenfranchise millions of eligible voters. The SAVE America Act would require documentation that shows proof of citizenship, like a passport or a birth certificate, to register to vote in federal elections. It would also implement photo ID requirements for voting itself, another GOP priority. The bill is the latest iteration of a measure House Republicans have sought to pass through both chambers for several years...

An annual meeting of the nation’s governors that has long served as a rare bipartisan gathering is unraveling after President Donald Trump excluded Democratic governors from White House events. The National Governors Association said it will no longer hold a formal meeting with Trump when governors are scheduled to convene in Washington later this month, after the White House planned to invite only Republican governors. On Tuesday, 18 Democratic governors also announced they would boycott a traditional dinner at the White House...

United States President Donald Trump is privately musing about exiting the North American trade pact, people familiar with the matter said, injecting further uncertainty about the deal’s future into pivotal renegotiations involving the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The president has asked aides why he shouldn’t withdraw from the agreement, which he signed during his first term, though he has stopped short of flatly signaling that he will do so, according to the people who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe internal discussions. A White House official, asked about the discussions, described Trump as the ultimate decision-maker and someone always seeking a better deal for the American people. Discussion about potential action amounted to baseless speculation before an announcement from the president, the official said...

The Trump administration is planning this week to repeal the Obama-era scientific finding that serves as the legal basis for federal greenhouse-gas regulation, according to U.S. officials, in the most far-reaching rollback of U.S. climate policy to date. The reversal targets the 2009 “endangerment finding,” which concluded that six greenhouse gases pose a threat to public health and welfare. The finding provided the legal underpinning for the Environmental Protection Agency’s climate rules, which limited emissions from power plants and tightened fuel-economy standards for vehicles under the Clean Air Act...

President Donald Trump will host Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Wednesday, where the Israeli prime minister is expected to press him to widen U.S. talks with Iran to include limits on Tehran's missile arsenal and other security threats beyond its nuclear program. In his seventh meeting with Trump since the president returned to office nearly 13 months ago, Netanyahu will be looking to influence the next round of U.S. discussions with Iran following nuclear negotiations held in Oman last Friday. Trump has threatened strikes on Iran if no agreement is reached, while Tehran has vowed to retaliate, stoking fears of a wider war. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is facing growing calls to resign this week after new revelations in a fresh batch of the Jeffrey Epstein files tied him to the convicted sex offender more closely and more recently. But the White House is standing firm, saying President Trump has unwavering support for his Cabinet secretary and longtime friend.  Lutnick himself was out front and center on Tuesday, appearing before a Senate Appropriations subcommittee as part of a standard oversight hearing that came at an inopportune time. At the hearing, senators asked Lutnick to disclose his ties with Epstein, and he admitted to visiting his private island, contradicting previous statements he made that he cut off contact with the disgraced financier after initially meeting him in 2005...
