A little-noticed provision tucked into the federal spending bill signed by President Trump could upend a booming industry -- by banning many THC-infused products, like gummies, drinks, topical pain relief, and vapes, now found everywhere from gas stations to wellness shops. Hemp, a derivative of the cannabis plant, was legalized in the 2018 Farm Bill. It created a loophole for THC to be sold in low doses and explode in the mainstream consumer market. The new ban tucked into the spending bill prohibits products containing more than 0.4 milligrams of THC per container...
#2 John Fetterman Brutally Shuts Down Liberal Host Pressuring Him to Denounce Charlie Kirk - Sky News Australia, Jason Cohen, Collin Rugg/Rachel Lane, Giordano Bruno, Michelle #AmericaFirst/Patricia Vick, and Brian Reid on X
US Senator John Fetterman has brutally shut down former CBS and ABC journalist Katie Couric after refusing to denounce the late Charlie Kirk. In an interview between the two, Couric began by asking Fetterman if the Turning Point USA founder deserved his several posthumous awards. “Do you think that flags should have been flown at half-staff? Do you think his body should have been flown on Air Force Two? Do you think he should have posthumously been given the Presidential Medal of Freedom?” Couric asked. Couric followed up her question by claiming, “Some people felt that that was perhaps over the top in terms of mourning someone like Charlie Kirk.” Fetterman failed to take the bait, arguing Kirk’s beliefs were “his choice and his prerogative, and that was really entirely up to him.”#3 U.S. To Remove Tariffs on Some Products From Ecuador, Argentina, Guatemala, and El Salvador - CNBC/Reuters, Chase Randall, Tosin Omole, CFA, FRM, CPA, CMA, Tempo English, DW News, and The 𝗘nd 𝗝ustifies the 𝗠emes on X
The United States said on Thursday it will remove tariffs on some foods and other imports from Argentina, Ecuador, Guatemala, and El Salvador under framework agreements that will give U.S. firms greater access to those markets. The agreements are expected to help lower prices for coffee, bananas, and other foodstuffs, a senior Trump administration official told reporters, adding the administration expected U.S. retailers to pass on the positive effects to American consumers. The framework deals with most of the four countries should be finalized within the next two weeks, the official said, with additional agreements seen as possible before the end of the year...

Autism was so rare when Dr. Andrew Wakefield went to medical school that he was not taught about it. Yet today, decades later, one in 31 children has autism. In 1998, as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Dr. Wakefield, whose specialty was inflammatory bowel disease, co-authored a paper published in The Lancet that documented 12 healthy children who, following the onset of gastrointestinal problems shortly after MMR vaccination, regressed into autism. The research team included specialists in psychiatry, histopathology, radiology, and gastroenterology. Epstein appeared to welcome that role of influence-wielder, including by pitching himself as a guru on how world leaders should handle the newly elected President Donald Trump. Epstein even boasted that he had already counseled a top Russian diplomat on Trump's psyche. Months later, Epstein would be arrested on sex trafficking charges...

More Americans are injecting themselves with unapproved chemicals that are pitched as ways to build muscle, rejuvenate skin, and extend life, the latest example of the nation’s fascination with alternative therapies and wellness hacks. Behind the trend is the surging popularity of GLP-1 weight loss medications, a class of so-called peptides approved to help users quickly shed pounds. However, the peptides being promoted by influencers, celebrities, and wellness gurus differ: many have never been approved for human use, and much of their purported evidence comes from studies conducted in rats and other animals. Several peptides, such as BPC-157 and TB-500, are banned by international sports authorities as doping substances...

A confidant of Bill Pulte, the Trump administration’s top housing regulator, provided confidential mortgage pricing data from Fannie Mae to a principal competitor, alarming senior officials of the government-backed lending giant who warned it could expose the company to claims that it was colluding with a rival to fix mortgage rates. Emails reviewed by The Associated Press show that Fannie Mae executives were unnerved about what one called the “very problematic” disclosure of data by Lauren Smith, the company’s head of marketing, who was acting on Pulte’s behalf. “Lauren, the information that was provided to Freddie Mac in this email is a problem,” Malloy Evans, senior vice president of Fannie Mae’s single-family mortgage division, wrote in an Oct. 11 email. “That is confidential, competitive information.”
