#1 Bill Gates’ Globalist Takeover of Our Children: The American Federation of Teachers Aligns with the World Economic Forum - Tracy Beanz and Michelle Edwards for The HighWire, Tinfoil Terri, Buckets/Libs of TikTok
The second-largest teachers’ union in the United States—the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), an aggressive, liberal political advocacy operation riddled with corruption—has partnered with the deep-state-aligned World Economic Forum to craft classroom curriculum for America’s school children. What could possibly go wrong? AFT President Randi Weingarten announced the partnership during a July 25 speech, telling union members that the collaboration aims to create “a curriculum that will lead to good jobs and solid careers in U.S. manufacturing.” As expected, Weingarten also took the time to criticize the Trump administration’s approach to education and technology, focusing on what she called an overreliance on standardized tests (which, by the way, are indeed used in the top ranked countries to monitor teachers’ performance), insufficient engagement with educators on AI policy, and a disregard for teachers in general...#2 Cincinnati Mayor Under Fire for Police Management After Viral Beating Exposes LAX Bail Laws - Julia Bonavita for Fox News, Carin, Sherry Gregory, MRJ/Aesthetica, Scott Ford, and OceanMama17/Charles R Downs on X and Benny Johnson on YouTube
After the viral beatdown in downtown Cincinnati that captured the nation’s attention, a candidate for Cincinnati mayor is pointing to relaxed bail policies and mismanagement of police funding as the primary cause of chaos wreaking havoc on citizens. In a news conference days after the assault, Mayor Aftab Pureval denounced the attack while vowing to find the assailants and hold them accountable. "This was an awful incident, and our law enforcement has been working quickly and effectively to bring all responsible to justice," Pureval said. "Let me be clear, there is no place for violent crime in Cincinnati, whether it's a fight or gun violence. We will pursue those responsible, and we will hold them accountable no matter who they are."
#3 Trump Doubles Reward to $50 Million for Arrest of Venezuela’s President to Face US Drug Charges - Joshua Goodman for AP, Economic Times, Deep State Illuminate, tfiglobal, and Tempo English on X
The Trump administration is doubling to $50 million a reward for the arrest of Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro, accusing him of being one of the world's largest narco-traffickers and working with cartels to flood the U.S. with fentanyl-laced cocaine. “Under President Trump’s leadership, Maduro will not escape justice and he will be held accountable for his despicable crimes,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said Thursday in a video announcing the reward. Maduro was indicted in Manhattan federal court in 2020, during the first Trump presidency, along with several close allies on federal charges of narco-terrorism and conspiracy to import cocaine. At the time, the U.S. offered a $15 million reward for his arrest. That was later raised by the Biden administration to $25 million — the same amount the U.S. offered for the capture of Osama bin Laden following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks...
#4 Rapidly Spreading Brush Fire Prompts an Evacuation Order for Thousands North of Los Angeles - Associated Press/CNN, Fire Engineering, 23ABC News, Washington Eye, and Deanna Calderon on X
A brush fire in a mountainous area north of Los Angeles ignited and spread quickly Thursday, forcing thousands of evacuations. The Canyon Fire ignited around 1:30 p.m., growing to over 2.3 square miles in five hours, according to Ventura County emergency response. It remained zero percent contained late Thursday afternoon and was spreading east, the county said. The fire is burning just south of Lake Piru, a reservoir located in the Los Padres National Forest. It’s close by Lake Castaic, a popular recreation area burned by the Hughes Fire in January. That fire burned about 15 square miles in six hours and put 50,000 people under evacuation orders or warnings...
#5 Trump Administration Cuts McGruff the Crime Dog’s Fentanyl Campaign - Kristin Wright for npr, Ian Hill, The Aggregate Journal, SniperNoSniping, Mindful Primate, and History Calendar on X
Adults of a certain age may remember McGruff the Crime Dog best. The animated bloodhound in a trench coat warned children about the dangers of using drugs in a series of both gritty and cheery public service announcements on TV in the 1980s and 1990s. McGruff was as frank about stranger danger and child abductions, once portraying the near-kidnapping of a little girl in pigtails in an ad: "If she gets into that car, you may be looking at Jenny for the last time." But perhaps most memorable is McGruff's persistent calls to "Take A Bite Out Of Crime."#6 Israel’s Security Cabinet Approves Plan for Israeli Military to Take Over Gaza City - CBS News, Upstract, WION, Monocle Radio, TMJ4 News, Our World, and China Biz Buzz on X
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced early Friday morning local time that Israel's Security Cabinet had approved a plan for the Israeli military to take over Gaza City. According to Netanyahu's office, the cabinet adopted five principles for ending the war. They included the disarmament of Hamas, the return of all hostages both living and dead, the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, Israeli security control over the Gaza Strip, and the establishment of an alternative civilian government in Gaza that is not led by Hamas or the Palestinian Authority...
#7 DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Blasts ‘South Park’ After Show Brutally Mocks Her Appearance - Emily Crane for New York Post, mg, James Jackson, Rose PArsons, ScoutLadyNY, and HuffPost on X
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has blasted “South Park” creators as “lazy” and “petty” after the show cruelly mocked her appearance — depicting her as a vain, Botoxed bimbo. “It never ends, but it’s so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look,” Noem, 53, told Glenn Beck on his podcast Thursday. “It’s always the liberals and the extremists who do that. If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, they just pick something petty like that.” Noem admitted she hadn’t watched the latest episode in which she’s portrayed as a glammed-up ICE agent who loves Botox, kills puppies, and arrests anyone who is Hispanic... President Trump ripped former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan for joining the Democratic Party and falling out of the GOP, calling him a “total loser” for making the switch. In an early Friday post on Truth Social, Trump said that Duncan was no longer wanted in the GOP because all he did was complain. “Failed former Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan, of Georgia, is a total loser. Was never able to get anything done, all he ever did was complain,” the president wrote. “We didn’t want him in the Republican Party any longer, so I’m told he became a Democrat.” He added, “Good riddance, Geoff. You don’t even have a chance!!!” Duncan on Tuesday pushed an op-ed published by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, saying the party switch has been coming for a while. The former lieutenant governor said his journey to becoming a Democrat began when Trump tried to “steal” the 2020 presidential election, an effort the former lieutenant governor denounced at the time... Government agencies will soon begin scrubbing federal employees’ COVID-19 vaccination records from their personnel files after a four-year-long legal battle over former President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Feds For Freedom announced Wednesday that it had reached a settlement with the Department of Justice (DOJ) that requires the Office of Personnel Management to direct federal agencies to expunge personnel records related to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, including vaccine status, non-compliance with the mandate, or exemption requests. The requirement must be issued in the next 60 days. Agencies will also be barred from considering COVID-19 vaccine status in hiring, firing, and promotion decisions...
#8 Trump Wants to Change the Census to Exclude Undocumented Immigrants. Here’s How the Census Works - Aaron Navarro for CBS News, Real America's Voice (RAV), Deborah Toppings, Patriot1776, Bob Cundiff, and Mike on X
President Trump on Thursday said he had instructed the Department of Commerce to "immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate" census that would exclude undocumented immigrants. But the census is a massive undertaking and has huge repercussions nationally, including on congressional seat alignment — so it's not something that can be changed quickly. In fact, the Census Bureau said it began planning the 2030 census in 2019. Asked for comment on Mr. Trump's post, a Commerce Department spokesperson told CBS News in a statement: "The Census Bureau will immediately adopt modern technology tools for use in the Census to better understand our robust Census data. We will accurately analyze the data to reflect the number of legal residents in the United States."
