#10 Musk Calls Trump’s Tax-Cut and Spending Bill ‘A Disgusting Abomination' - David Morgan and Doina Chiacu for Reuters, Ultra MAGA Deplorable Tammy, Steve Gruber, K.I.S.S., VKA/Elon Musk, Z Habash, and Kyle Sweetser/unusual_whales on X
- Billionaire Elon Musk plunged on Tuesday into the congressional debate over President Donald Trump's sweeping tax and spending bill, calling it a "disgusting abomination" that will increase the federal deficit. Several fiscally conservative Republicans in the U.S. Senate supported the views Musk expressed in social media posts, which could complicate the bill's path to passage in that chamber. "I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore," Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk wrote in a post on his social media platform X. "This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination."

#9 White House Formally Sends Its DOGE Spending Cuts Request to Congress - Lauren Fox for CNN, America, Nick Sortor, Eric Daugherty, News Nuzzle, and Verity on X

The White House has sent its long-awaited spending cuts request to Congress as it seeks to formalize a slew of DOGE slashes to federal funding. The $9.4 billion package – known as “rescissions” on Capitol Hill – would claw back previously appropriated government funding. The move to cancel the funding through Congress would insulate the administration from legal challenges related to its cuts to federal funding. As anticipated, the cuts target the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a small chunk of the federal budget that provides some public funding for NPR and PBS, as well as the United States Agency for International Development...

#8 Trump Ramps up Criticism of GOP Sen. Rand Paul Amid Push to Pass His Funding Bill - ABC News, johnny maga, Tom Woods, Kyle, Catturd/Ann Vandersteel, Ron Paul, and Senator Rand Paul on X

President Donald Trump is ramping up his criticism of Republican senators who are threatening to complicate the passage of the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," which advances his legislative agenda. On Tuesday, he railed against Sen. Rand Paul in a social media post after the Kentucky Republican publicly criticized the House-passed megabill. Paul opposes the bill because of a debt ceiling increase in it that he said would "explode deficits." Paul said at an event in Iowa last week that the cuts in the bill are "wimpy and anemic" and called for slashes to other entitlements, which Trump has made clear are a red line for him...

#7 Zelensky Launched a String of Daring Raids Against Russia - He’s Proving to Trump That Ukraine Has the Cards After All - Richard Hall and Andrew Feinberg for Independent, Flopping Aces, Arup Ghosh, Desiree, Lord Bebo, Kevin Rothrock, and General Mike Flynn/New State Lands on X

First came dozens of armed drones launched from trucks traveling deep inside Russia, swarming over military airfields across the country and raining down nuclear-capable long-range bombers. Then, two days later, a massive underwater bomb targeted a key bridge linking occupied Crimea to the Russian mainland. The two daring raids by Ukrainian special forces have stunned the Kremlin, bolstered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and sent shockwaves through defense departments around the world. But there has been an uncharacteristic silence from the White House, and its usually verbose inhabitants. Donald Trump, who during an infamous Oval Office showdown in February told Zelensky that he didn’t “have the cards” to keep up the fight against Russia, and JD Vance, who in the same meeting asked the Ukrainian president if he had “said thank you, once” for Washington’s support, have not said a word about one of the most significant setbacks to Russia’s military in decades...

#6 Despite Cancellation of Moderna’s mRNA Bird Flu Jab, Efforts for mRNA-LNP H5N1 Jab for Cattle Forge Ahead - Tracy Beanz and Michelle Edwards, UncoverDC, Lugo Rights, and Boar News on X

Citing a decision based on safety, integrity, and trust connected to a product that “was not scientifically or ethically justifiable,” the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) notified Moderna on May 28 that it was terminating the company’s $776 million contract for the development of a bird flu vaccine for humans. That decision is undoubtedly the correct decision. Yet, meanwhile, realizing the danger to humans of the under-tested mRNA technology platform, the US government continues to fund research on H5 influenza mRNA-lipid nanoparticle (LNP) vaccines for use in cattle. And to make matters worse—and essentially negate the progress made with the termination of HHS’s contract with Moderna—the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved on May 31 a new Moderna COVID-19 mRNA jab called mNEXSPIKE®, which the DARPA partner noted was “for use in all adults 65 and older, as well as individuals 12 through 64 years of age with at least one underlying condition that put them at high risk for severe outcomes from COVID-19.”

#5 Dem Governor Ripped as ‘Total Disgrace’ After Vetoing Bill Limiting Chinese Land Ownership Near Military Bases - Alec Schemmel for Fox News, Joe Pags Pagliarulo, Sadie, Mario Nawfal, Andy Biggs, and Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh on X

Arizona Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs, who is up for reelection this year, garnered backlash Tuesday after vetoing a bill aimed at preventing China from buying up land next to strategic assets, such as military bases. Arizona state Senate Majority Leader Janae Shamp said the "politically motivated veto" was "utterly insane," blaming Hobbs for being "an obstructionist against safeguarding our citizens from threats."  However, Hobbs said the bill, S.B. 1109, was "ineffective at counter-espionage" and did not "directly protect" American military assets in the state. Chinese investment in land near military bases has become an increasing concern for national security hawks. Shamp, in her efforts to get the now-vetoed bill passed, cited recent Chinese attempts to lease buildings alongside Arizona's Luke Air Force Base, where the military trains fighter pilots...

#4 Maniac Busted After Jumping Mar-A-Lago Wall, Telling Cops He Wanted to ‘Marry’ Trump’s Teen Granddaughter Kai - New York Post, Fox News, Defund the MSM, Tony Lane, Collin Rugg, and Melissa Hallman on X

A 23-year-old man was nabbed by Secret Service agents early Tuesday after hopping the wall around President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, telling officers he wanted to “spread the gospel” to Trump and wed his 18-year-old granddaughter, Kai. Anthony Thomas Reyes was busted just after midnight and confessed to arresting officers that he had scaled the wall surrounding the Palm Beach, Fla., property. Wednesday marked at least the second time Reyes had been caught trying to get inside the exclusive club, with the previous instance occurring on New Year’s Eve. Reyes was initially charged by state authorities with trespassing, though federal charges are likely to follow...

#3 FDA Grants Limited Approval to New COVID Vaccine From Moderna - Aria Bendix for NBC News, Secretary Kennedy/Jeremy R. Hammond, Champagne Joshi, The Vigilant Fox, The Wellness Company, Kat A, Nurse Brenda, and Daniel Horowitz on X

Moderna announced this weekend that the Food and Drug Administration approved its lower-dose Covid-19 vaccine for adults 65 and older, as well as people ages 12 to 64 with at least one medical condition that increases their risk for severe Covid. The approval, which is limited to individuals who have previously received a COVID-19 vaccine, was granted by the FDA on Friday. Moderna said in a Saturday press release that the new vaccine should be available in the U.S. in time for the 2025-26 respiratory virus season, which starts in the fall. Moderna is also updating its original vaccine to target the LP.8.1 variant this fall. The company submitted an application in May for the FDA to approve the updated formula...

#2 CDC Official Quits After RFK Jr.’s Latest COVID-19 Vaccine Update - Josephine Harvey for Daily Beast, Jonathan Reiner, Terry Eidson, Reuters, NFSC Red Leaf Canada, Wall Street Engine, and John Bates on X

A top COVID-19 vaccine adviser has reportedly resigned from her role at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the wake of an abrupt vaccine policy change announced by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. last week. Pediatric infectious disease expert Dr. Lakshmi Panagiotakopoulos on Tuesday stepped down as co-leader of a CDC work group that helps shape the agency’s COVID-19 vaccine recommendations, and is set to leave the agency altogether, Reuters reported.  It comes after President Donald Trump’s health secretary declared last week that the CDC will no longer recommend COVID-19 vaccines to healthy children and healthy pregnant women—a move that reportedly blindsided CDC officials, who learned of the directive from social media. Kennedy’s announcement was subtly contradicted by the CDC, which days later updated its advice. It said COVID shots could be given to healthy children over 6 months old, but added a new condition that children and caregivers would need to consult their healthcare provider...

#1 Chinese Nationals Accused of Smuggling ‘Dangerous Biological Pathogen’ Into US - Ali Abbas Ahmadi for BBC, TrashDiscourse, Jennifer Zeng, Michael Ron Bowling/Andy Lee, Denise Wu, and Insurrection Barbie on X

Two Chinese nationals have been accused of smuggling a fungus into the US that officials describe as a "dangerous biological pathogen". Yunqing Jian, 33, and Zunyong Liu, 34, have been charged with conspiracy, smuggling goods, false statements, and visa fraud, the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan announced on Tuesday. The complaint alleges Mr Liu tried to smuggle the fungus through Detroit airport so he could study it at a University of Michigan laboratory where his girlfriend, Ms Jian, worked. The fungus called Fusarium graminearum can cause a disease in wheat, barley, maize, and rice that can wipe out crops and lead to vomiting and liver damage if it gets into food...
