Gov. Tate Reeves signed a bill into law that will eliminate the state income tax. "We've fought hard to get this done for years, and it's finally happening," Reeves said on social media. "It will lead to more money in your pocket." Earlier this month, the Mississippi House passed a Senate plan that would gradually eliminate the state income tax. Under the plan, the income tax will drop by 0.25% each year until 2030, when it reaches 3%. From that point on, the tax will drop gradually depending on the gap between the state's revenue and expenses until it is eventually eliminated entirely...
#9 We Are Stardust - Tracy Beanz and Michelle Edwards for The HighWire, UncoverDC, Massimo, and DKAstrology on X
The crucial elements for life on Earth—often called the building blocks of life—are carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and sulfur, abbreviated as CHNOPS. Elements are matter that cannot be broken down into simpler substances. On the periodic table, each element is distinguished by its atomic number, which describes the number of protons in the nuclei—the central, positively charged core—of its atoms. Scientists can now map the abundance of all of the significant elements found in the human body across hundreds of thousands of stars in our Milky Way Galaxy, ascertaining where in our galaxy life had the required elements to evolve. In other words, we humans really are made of stardust. As noted by the American Museum of Natural History...#8 As the Move to Defund Planned Parenthood Is More Urgent, Sen. Joni Ernst Introduces Bill to Do Just That - Rebecca Downs for Townhall, Janae Stracke, Lyn, and Irene Doyle Sandler on X
The Trump administration this week announced that they were freezing funding to Planned Parenthood for review, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. President Donald Trump himself also announced that they will "look into" the abortion giant harvesting organs from aborted babies. For over a decade now, Republicans in Congress have been on a mission to defund Planned Parenthood, and the fight still continues today. In the Senate, Sen. Trump said in a post on Truth Social that Stefanik “will stay in Congress” after her nomination for the administration post had stalled for months. “I have asked Elise, as one of my biggest Allies, to remain in Congress to help me deliver Historic Tax Cuts, GREAT Jobs, Record Economic Growth, a Secure Border, Energy Dominance, Peace Through Strength, and much more, so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “With a very tight Majority, I don’t want to take a chance on anyone else running for Elise’s seat. The people love Elise and, with her, we have nothing to worry about come Election Day.”
#5 What to Expect in Florida’s Special Elections - Robert Yoon for AP News, Protect Kamala Harris, Garret Herrin, Anthony Sabatini, Ron Filipkowski, John Cardillo/The Floridian, Beruit Barry/Bannon's WarRoom, and Desantis Appreciation Society on X
uesday’s special elections to replace Florida’s Republican former U.S. Reps. Matt Gaetz and Michael Waltz will be held in two of the state’s GOP strongholds, but Democrats hope that strong fundraising in both districts is an indicator the races will be more competitive than they were in the last election just five months ago. Control of the U.S. House is not at stake, but the outcome of the special elections could give congressional Republicans some breathing room in the narrowly divided chamber. Republicans hold 218 seats, the minimum needed for a majority in a fully seated House. Democrats hold 213 seats, with two additional vacant seats most recently held by Democratic lawmakers...

The Big Tech elites have been laying “groundwork” to enable the policies of the Great Reset, and no one knows it better than Silicon Valley attorney, entrepreneur, RFK Jr. running mate, and ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin — Nicole Shanahan. “Their money especially was being conscripted to set the groundwork for the Great Reset, specifically through a network of NGO advisors, relationship with Hollywood, relationship with Davos, and their own companies,” Shanahan told Allie Beth Stuckey in a recent interview on “Relatable.” “If you look at who’s on these boards, who hangs out with each other, how the culture of tech wealth works,” Shanahan continued, “it’s a really small group of people, and it’s a really small group of people making these decisions.”
