Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) minced no words in his assessment of Tucker Carlson on Wednesday’s edition of Piers Morgan Uncensored, calling him a “trust fund baby” in a rant that also saw him declare that he lives “rent-free in that little mongrel’s head.” The segment in question began with eponymous host Piers Morgan sharing a clip of Carlson calling Crenshaw “a freak,” “weirdo,” and “warmonger,” as well as speculating that the congressman’s “personal life is out of control.” “Dan, your response to being a freak, a warmonger, and a weird?” asked Morgan...

Pete Buttigieg is expected to announce Thursday that he will not run for Michigan’s open Senate seat — leaving the door open for an expected presidential campaign, according to a report. The former Transportation Secretary, who recently acknowledged he was “looking” at a Senate campaign to replace retiring Democrat Gary Peters in one of the most competitive seats in the 2026 cycle, will likely make the announcement Thursday, a person briefed on his decision told Politico. His decision was framed by allies as a move to put him in the best position for a future presidential run, all while avoiding more difficult-to-win campaigns in 2026 and 2028, according to Politico. Buttigieg was also a candidate in the crowded 2020 Democratic primary race, which was won by former President Joe Biden...
#7 US Gas Prices Drop for Third Consecutive Week, Hit 4-Year Low - Jaxon Gaines for Watcher.Guru, Nick Sortor, Daniel Turner, Speak Out, Next News Network, and Rep. Jim Jordan on X
US gas prices have fallen for the third consecutive week, now sitting at a four-year low. The price of gasoline now sits at an average of $3.03 per gallon. Several analysts credit uncertainty over the state of the economy, including President Donald Trump’s tariffs, as the reason behind the drop. The price of gas fell 0.6 cents from last week’s average of $3.04 and is down 8.9 cents from one month ago and 36.7 cents from a year ago, according to a GasBuddy report. Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said in a press release that caution around potential tariffs is “likely having a moderate impact” on prices. “Concerns about the direction of the economy could have a major influence on fuel prices in the months ahead, especially with the high level of uncertainty surrounding tariffs...#6 Egg Prices Start to Drop After Bird Flu Shortage Caused Massive Hikes - Taylor Herzlich for The New York Post, Frank Luntz, Prodigal, End Wokeness, The Foo, and Jon Elder on X
According to new data, shoppers may finally feel some relief in the egg aisle after waning demand caused steep price declines over the past week. Egg prices jumped 10.4% in February as a rampant bird flu outbreak continued to cause widespread shortages, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Wednesday. But prices for large white eggs dropped $1.30 to $6.85 a dozen as of March 7 – down 16% from a staggering $8.15 price tag two weeks prior, the Department of Agriculture said in a report. “With these sharp increases in prices in the last two years basically, at some point, the average consumer is starting to realize it’s just not affordable for them, so there’s just sort of a drop in demand,” food science consultant Bryan Quoc Le told The Post... Elon Musk and his so-called “Department of Government Efficiency,” or Doge, have been ordered by a federal judge to turn over a wide array of records that would reveal the identities of staffers and internal records related to efforts to aggressively cut federal government spending and programs. US district judge Tanya Chutkan’s order forces Musk to produce documents related to Doge’s activities as part of a lawsuit brought by 14 Democratic state attorneys general that alleges Musk violated the constitution by wielding powers that only Senate-confirmed officials should possess... A Michigan U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) director has been accused of running a scheme to defraud the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) after a series of floods damaged her home in 2023. The Department of Justice (DOJ) unsealed a criminal complaint against 55-year-old Serina Baker-Hill on Wednesday, charging her with engaging in a scheme to defraud FEMA and lying to federal agents. U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that President Donald Trump wants to eliminate taxes for individuals earning less than $150,000 per year. What Happened: Lutnick, in a CBS News interview on Tuesday, shared Trump’s tax objective. “I know what his (Trump's) goal is… no tax, for anybody who makes less than $150,000 a year. That's his goal. That's what I'm working for,” Lutnick said. Trump’s tax strategy also aims to abolish taxes on tips and overtime and implement significant reductions to individual and corporate taxes. Lutnick suggested that the deficit arising from these tax cuts could be compensated by curbing overseas tax frauds, which he believes are causing a loss of revenue to the U.S... federal judge has blocked portions of President Donald Trump’s executive order last week which aimed at “Addressing Risks from Perkins Coie” — the law firm which helped Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign fund British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s debunked anti-Trump dossier. Judge Beryl Howell issued the temporary restraining order from the bench on Tuesday after hearing arguments from Justice Department chief of staff Chad Mizelle and from Dane Butswinkas of Williams & Connolly, which is representing Perkins Coie. The law firm’s role in generating the Steele Dossier was front-and-center during back-and-forth discussions between the judge and the DOJ, but the judge ultimately ruled that Perkins Coie “has met its burden” for a temporary block of parts of Trump’s order...
