A coalition of organizations granted $7 billion in federal funds for climate and housing projects sued the Trump administration and Citibank on Saturday to restore its access to the money. Climate United says it has been unable to retrieve the money it was supposed to get from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and has received no explanation from EPA or Citibank, which is managing $20 billion in fund grants under an arrangement with the federal government. The suit asks a judge to issue injunctions ordering Citibank to disburse the money and prohibiting EPA from interfering with the funding...

Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump’s audit into federal spending has unearthed troubling findings, including the alleged existence of a $375 billion slush fund. This massive sum, funneled through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has reportedly benefited key Democratic figures, including activist and politician Stacy Abrams. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin froze some award funds. On Tuesday he questioned why $7 Billion was awarded to a coalition of nonprofits. Climate United says it has been shut out of a bank account holding the money since Feb. 18 and cannot access the funds it was awarded in August. The group says it has received no explanation for the freeze from either EPA or Citibank, which administers the funds...

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on X early Monday that, following a six-week review, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)—a rogue agency captured by the Deep State—will see most of its programs canceled, and the State Department will oversee the remaining programs still in operation. "The 5200 contracts that are now canceled spent tens of billions of dollars in ways that did not serve (and in some cases even harmed) the core national interests of the United States," Rubio said. He continued, "In consultation with Congress, we intend for the remaining 18% of programs we are keeping (approximately 1000) to now be administered more effectively under the State Department."

Cuomo made a 17-minute pitch for his candidacy in a video announcement released on his website, looking directly into the camera as images of New York City played along. “We know that today our New York City is in trouble,” Cuomo says as the video shows images of homeless people on city streets and the city’s subways. “You see it in the empty storefronts, the graffiti, the grime, the migrant influx, the random violence. The city just feels threatening, out of control, and in crisis.” Cuomo’s entrance into the already crowded race sets up a potential political comeback for the former governor, who resigned from office in 2021 amid a sexual harassment scandal after 11 women accused him of sexual misconduct...

Vice President JD Vance claimed that he was harassed by pro-Ukraine protesters while taking his three-year-old daughter out for a walk on Saturday. “Today while walking my 3-year-old daughter, a group of ‘Slava Ukraini’ protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared,” Vance claimed on X Saturday afternoon.  “I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed),” he added. “It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a s–t person.”

A man who was brandishing a firearm in Washington, D.C., was shot by Secret Service officers near the White House on Sunday morning, the Secret Service said. The man, who is thought to have traveled from Indiana, had been flagged to the Secret Service by local police as a potential suicide risk, according to the agency. Officials came across the man's car and found him nearby with a firearm when an armed confrontation ensued, the Secret Service said. The man was transported to a nearby hospital, and his condition is so far unknown. No Secret Service personnel are thought to have been harmed...

 Today, the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Education (ED), and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced the immediate cancellation of approximately $400 million in federal grants and contracts to Columbia University due to the school’s continued inaction in the face of persistent harassment of Jewish students. These cancellations represent the first round of action and additional cancellations are expected to follow. The Task Force is continuing to review and coordinate across federal agencies to identify additional cancellations that could be made swiftly. DOJ, HHS, ED, and GSA are taking this action as members of the Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism.
