The ammunition was found in two different SUVs that were traveling east on Interstate 10 from the Phoenix area. The Pinal County Sheriff’s office stopped one vehicle containing 7.62x39 ammunition. A second vehicle containing .50 caliber ammunition was located by the Cochise County Counter Narcotics and Trafficking Alliance (CNTA) investigators at Motel 6 in Benson. Detectives at the motel also found two people. One was an asylum seeker out of Cuba, and the other was a U.S. citizen from Texas...
