The conservative group America First Legal (AFL) is investigating whether the Biden-Harris administration was monitoring Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect who allegedly attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump on Sunday. AFL announced Tuesday it was launching a “multi-front” investigation into any records the Biden-Harris administration may possess on Routh. #9 Another Assassination Attempt Shows the Dems’ Hostile Playbook: Blame the Victim if It’s Trump - Michael Goodwin for The New York Post, Jason Miller, Laura Ingraham on X and Jimmy Dore on YouTube

He had it coming. It’s his own fault. Don’t blame us.  That sums up how leading Democrats and their media handmaidens are reacting to the second attempted assassination of Donald Trump.  Remorse and concern about him or even the perils of the rising tide of everyday violence are in short supply. Early voting has started, and they weren’t going to waste a day expressing anything other than hostility for the opponent they love to hate. And so the chorus of Dems and their propagandists are fending off every charge that they bear any responsibility for the repeated attempts to kill the leader of the Republican Party. Just because they compare him to Hitler and Mussolini doesn’t mean they actually want him dead. And a Dem congressman wasn’t to be taken literally when he said Trump had to be “eliminated.”

Express Scripts, one of the country’s largest pharmacy benefit managers, sued the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Tuesday and demanded the agency retract a report saying the industry middlemen contribute to high drug prices. The July report “is filled with false and misleading claims about the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry and fails to serve the interests of American consumers,” the company said in a statement. According to the legal complaint, the FTC report “is seventy-four pages of unsupported innuendo leveled against Express Scripts and other PBMs under a false and defamatory headline and accompanied by a false and defamatory press release.”

#6 Billionaire Hedge Fund Manager Says He Would Pull His Money From the Market if Harris Wins Election - Breck Dumas for Fox News, The New York Post, Mario Nawfal, and Dave Harley on X
Hedge fund billionaire and major Trump fundraiser John Paulson said Tuesday he will pull his money out of the market if Vice President Harris wins the presidential election this fall, saying the Democrat nominee's economic policies would spook investors. "Well, I would say it very much depends on who's in the White House and who controls Congress," Paulson replied. "I'd be very concerned if Harris is elected and pursues the tax plans and other economic plans that she articulated," Paulson said during the interview that former President Trump> and Harris' plans for the economy are very different, noting that Trump wants to extend the 2017 tax cuts implemented during his term in office while Harris wants to let them expire...

The House Freedom Caucus has elected Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) as its new chairman to replace Rep. Bob Good (R-VA), who will leave office early next year after losing his primary election earlier this year. Caucus members voted to elect Harris in a voice vote on Tuesday evening, a lawmaker confirmed to the Washington Examiner. Terms as Freedom Caucus chairperson typically last two years...

#4 Donald Trump Warns Election Cheaters ‘Will Be Prosecuted to the Fullest Extent of the Law’ - John Nolte for Breitbart, and George on X

With early voting starting in crucial swing states, like Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump is putting election cheaters on notice that, if he wins, they “will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long-term prison sentences[.]” Trump issued the warning in a Truth Social post on Tuesday. The former president believes Democrats cheated him out of a reelection victory in 2020. #3 Election Officials Open The Door To Voter Fraud In Arizona - Mary Rooke for The Daily Caller, America First Legal, and Jenna Johnson on X

Arizona election officials admit that they “accidentally” enrolled almost 100,000 ineligible voters as eligible to vote in the 2024 election. Arizona has some of the strictest laws in the country against noncitizens registering to vote. Still, officials say they checked the box on 97,000 people who had not submitted proof of their U.S. citizenship to register to vote. Arizona Democrat Secretary of State Adrian Fontes announced Tuesday that the state incorrectly marked these registered voters as having already provided proof of citizenship when they hadn’t, reported VoteBeat Arizona...

#2 California Governor Signs Laws to Crack Down on Election Deepfakes Created by AI - Rân NguyễN for ABC News, Elon Musk, Ryan Fournier, Ian Miles Cheong, and Julia on X

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed three bills Tuesday to crack down on the use of artificial intelligence to create false images or videos in political ads ahead of the 2024 election. A new law, set to take effect immediately, makes it illegal to create and publish deepfakes related to elections 120 days before Election Day and 60 days thereafter. It also allows courts to stop the distribution of the materials and impose civil penalties. “Safeguarding the integrity of elections is essential to democracy, and it’s critical that we ensure AI is not deployed to undermine the public’s trust through disinformation -– especially in today’s fraught political climate,” Newsom said in a statement. "These measures will help to combat the harmful use of deepfakes in political ads and other content, one of several areas in which the state is being proactive to foster transparent and trustworthy AI.”

#1 Elon Musk Says SpaceX Will Sue FAA for ‘Regulatory Overreach’ - Lora Kolodny for CNBC, Space Sudoer, Elon Musk, Doge Designer, and Amuse on X

Elon Musk said SpaceX will sue the Federal Aviation Administration for “regulatory overreach” after the agency planned to fine his defense contractor for issues with two launches last year. Musk’s threat of litigation, in a post on social media platform X on Tuesday, came after the FAA announced it would levy fines amounting to $633,000 against SpaceX because the company had purportedly failed to comply with a variety of licensing and safety-related regulations during those launches. The FAA said SpaceX used an “unapproved rocket propellant farm” for its EchoStar XXIV Jupiter mission in July 2023. For its launch a month earlier from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, SpaceX had modified its communication plans and used a new and unapproved launch control room, the FAA said.
