#10 Judge Tosses Ken Paxton’s Lawsuit Targeting Bexar County’s Voter Registration Effort - Kayla Guo for The Texas Tribune, CBS Austin on X

A state district court judge on Monday denied a request by Attorney General Ken Paxton to block a Bexar County plan to mail voter registration forms to county residents ahead of the November election, saying the request was moot. Bexar County attorneys argued in a hearing before Judge Antonia Arteaga on Monday that there was no reason for the court to issue an injunction because the forms were mailed last week, according to the San Antonio Report. Paxton’s office submitted an updated request before the hearing asking that no additional letters be sent out...

#9 Allegations of Bias Against Agent in Charge of Latest Assassination Investigation - Tracy Beanz UncoverDC, Kyle Becker, Garret O'Boyle on X
Whistleblowers from the FBI and Empower Oversight, a nonprofit organization founded to support insiders as they document and report corruption, are sounding the alarm yet again about the Special Agent in Charge of the Miami Field Office, Jeffrey Veltri. Veltri oversees the office that will be investigating the second assassination attempt in recent weeks against former President Donald J. Trump. Before running the Miami office, Veltri was the Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI's Security Division. Several accusations of political bias against conservatives and President Trump have been leveled at Veltri by whistleblowers at the bureau...

#8 Pennsylvania Court Reverses Ruling Allowing Misdated Mail-in Ballots - Juliann Ventura for The Hill, Chicago1 Ray, and Officer Lew on X

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled Friday that mail-in ballots with incorrect dates will not be counted in November, reversing a previous ruling from a lower court in the battleground state. The decision from last month named only Philadelphia and Allegheny counties, which the state’s Supreme Court argued the lower ruling lacked jurisdiction.  “HUGE election integrity win in Pennsylvania,” GOP Chair Michael Whatley wrote in a post on the social platform X. The court’s reversal is a win for the Republicans, but received some backlash from the state’s American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which labeled misdated ballots a “common trivial error on the external envelopes” in a press release Friday.

#7 Instagram to Automatically Put Teens Into Private Accounts With Increased Restrictions and Parental Controls - Angela Yang for NBC News, and Sabrina Norwood on X

Teenagers on Instagram will soon be automatically placed in a new type of account with built-in privacy restrictions that give parents more control. On Tuesday, Meta, the social media platform’s parent company, will begin rolling out its “teen accounts” feature, which aims to put all teens — including those who may try to lie about their ages — into private accounts that can be messaged, tagged or mentioned only by people they already follow. It’s the company’s most significant move yet to manage how minors use Instagram...

#6 Ohio Sheriff Asks for Residents’ Addresses With Kamala Harris Signs to Send Illegal Immigrants to Homes - Stepheny Price for Fox News, and What the Flock on X

A sheriff in Ohio took to social media to issue a warning to the public that anyone who is showing support for Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign could eventually house some extra guests. In a post on his personal campaign page, Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski appeared to encourage residents to write down the addresses of supporters for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. "When people ask me...What's gonna happen if the flip-flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins??" Zuchowski wrote in his post. "I say….write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards!"

#5 FEC Finally Rules ‘Phantom’ Left-Wing Group Filed False Financial Disclosures in 2020 - Gabe Kaminsky for Washington Examiner and on X

A progressive super PAC dubbed a “phantom” in 2020 violated federal law by filing false financial disclosure reports, according to the Federal Election Commission. The FEC’s ruling was detailed in a letter last week to director Kendra Arnold of the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, a watchdog group that demanded an investigation into Americans for Progressive Action USA in May 2020. That super PAC, Arnold argued in a complaint at the time, violated the Federal Election Campaign Act with fabrications on its financial disclosures...

#4 Shadowy Democrat Group Concocts Potentially ‘Criminal’ Scheme to Siphon Votes from Battleground Republicans - Sean Moran for Breitbart, Karli Bonne, and Marc Molinaro on X
Many unorthodox candidates have run against battleground Republicans, all of whom the same shadowy group, Patriots Run Project, has backed.  The AP found in its investigation that some of its funding originates from Democrat consulting firms. Joseph Weiderien, a strong Trump supporter, said, “At that time I was thinking, well, it would be nice to be in Congress and get to work with President Trump. It looks like it’s a dirty trick now.”

Weiderien said he had been manipulated into running against Rep. Zach Nunn, a first-term Republican in Iowa. He has since withdrawn his candidacy. Nunn said in a statement on Monday...

#3 ‘Migrant Influencer’ Leonel Moreno, Who Encouraged Migrants to Be Squatters, Is Ordered Deported —  But Here’s Why He Likely Won’t Be Kicked out of the Country - Jennie Taer for The New York Post, John Basham and The Republican Tesla Guy on X

“Migrant influencer” Leonel Moreno, who went viral on TikTok for encouraging illegal border crossers to squat in US homes, was ordered deported by an immigration judge — but he likely won’t be kicked out of the country anyway because of a diplomatic row. An Ohio-based immigration judge ordered that the 27-year-old Venezuelan migrant, who also waved around wads of cash on social media and flaunted what he said were US government handouts, be removed from the US on Sept. 9, according to Homeland Security sources. Moreno crossed the southern border illegally into Eagle Pass, Texas, on April 23, 2022...

#2 The Steady Poisoning of Our Children - Tracy Beanz and Michelle Edwards for The HighWire, and Jessica Rojas, and Raising Healthy Families on X

None of the vaccine doses recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for routine injection into our nation’s children were licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) based on a long-term placebo-controlled trial. This troubling fact, which has been consistently pointed out by The Highwire host Del Bigtree, is even more horrifying upon realizing that when pressed repeatedly by attorneys for Bigtree’s Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), the FDA lied, maintaining that many of the vaccines did undergo placebo control studies even though the taxpayer-funded agency’s own licensure documents for each childhood vaccine proved otherwise. Speaking in 2019 of the despicable manner in which the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)—the parent department of the CDC and FDA—has Bigtree stated...

Sean “Diddy” Combs was due in court Tuesday on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges that accuse him of hitting and abusing women for over a decade and presiding over an empire of sexual crimes. The music mogul “engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals,” according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday. Detailing allegations dating to 2009, the indictment accuses him of abusing, threatening, and coercing women for years “to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.” Combs had been arrested late Monday in Manhattan, roughly six months after federal authorities conducting a sex trafficking investigation raided his luxurious homes in Los Angeles and Miami...
