The airline said Thursday that it has been studying seating options and is making the changes because passenger preferences have shifted. The moves could also generate revenue and boost financial performance.

U.S. authorities have charged a Florida telecommunications worker with years-long spying on the persecuted Falun Gong community and other Chinese dissidents on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a newly unsealed federal indictment shows.

The man, Ping Li, is a U.S. citizen who immigrated from China. For over 13 years, from around January 2012 through to July this year, Mr. Li allegedly worked as a cooperative agent for the Ministry of State Security—China’s top intelligence gathering agency.
