The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow —
Commentary by Larry Schweikart
IN POLITICAL NEWS
2) Rutabaga said 11 Americans were killed by Hamas. He finally doddered out for about 10 minutes before putting a “lid” on again.
3) Leftists come out in support of Hamas massacres and send money to the Pales.
-Let’s get one thing straight. There is no such thing as a “Palestinian” because Palestine was an artificial construct of the Romans after they booted out all of the original inhabitants, the Jews. “Palestinians” have as much historical legitimacy as Atlanteans but don’t swim as well.
4) Oh, and when you hear that the Israelis need “more support?” From January 2023: “US Has Moved Munitions Stored In Israel for Use by Ukraine.
5) This disgusting, evil, demonic family has no limits to their slobby immorality. Rutabaga’s younger brother Frank (Eggplant) Biden has admitted a naked selfie on a homosexual dating website is genuine.
6) First, I don’t believe Rutabaga has a strategy for anything except destroying America. Second, if there was such a strategy, this is the epitome of stupid. “Biden's strategy rested on Trusting the Iranians.”
7) President Trump leads the illegitimate Rutabaga in a bevy of new polls in battleground states, including big in Georgia (which he won last time except for fraud). However, that poll is Rasmussen and seems way, way too high.
8) This poll has President Trump over the demented turnip by 10.
9) Poor CBS. This had to hurt: “No evidence Trump Shared Nuclear Secrets with Australia.”
10) Former National Security Adviser: Rutabaga’s ransom to Iran incentivized Hamas to take U.S. hostages.
11) Nick Knack Paddywhack Give a Uke a Bomb raised $11 million trying to overtake DeSantis for a distant second. I predicted that many of the DeSantis donors would begin to shift to her and even White Lizzo and that DeSantis would run dry long before Christmas.
12) This was well known, but the announcement makes it official that RFK, Jr. has jumped from the DemoKKKrat Party to run as an indie.
13) “The Conservative Treehouse,” always good for a different view, argues that Qatar is a home for terrorism and that the Muslim Brotherhood was the template for Black Looters Matter.
14) Take these two articles together. First, the Army goes after the elite warriors who likely don’t buy the woke raccoon feces they are peddling, cutting the Special Ops forces by 3,000 . . .
15) . . . While Rutabaga’s military needs illegals to boost recruiting levels.
-Folks, this is straight out of the fall of Rome and its recruitment of Germans. 'Cuz they were sooooo loyal to Rome.
16) Exactly right. McCarthy is gone because promises still matter.
-You can’t run a gubment without keeping your promises.
IN CULTURE NEWS
-Marriage and religion are both declining institutions. Never being married is intimately related to religion, especially for men. Men “are just dropping out of many institutions that are key to a functioning society.”
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
-You’re writing the wrong person, there, ya brisketpimples. Direct your correspondence to the Rutabaga. It’s HIS inflation.
19) BMW, temporarily waving the white flag, again sells gas-powered motorcycles after a month-long ban.
20) U.S. housing inventory remains low because of high-interest rates. No one can afford to sell because they can’t afford to buy.
21) Good. Renewable energy stocks crater as green gets expensive.
22) Large-scale bankruptcies surge as 459 firms filed for bankruptcy this year, with 16 having more than $1 billion in assets.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
-Again, never “far-left gains/loses.”
24) Yet another new report says China’s economy is “Running Out of Road.”
25) In Kenya, hundreds of Muslims marched against homosexual/transoid rights.
-Well, they get one thing right.
26) Looks like Ecuador has a little terrorist problem of its own: Six of the suspects arrested for the assassination of a presidential candidate were Columbian.
27) Canadian Broadcasting System (the other communist CBS) said its news spoogies cannot refer to Hamas terrorists as terrorists.
-Of course. After all, you can’t call a woman a woman if she says she’s a man.
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
-It still sucked. I’ll give it one more episode to improve.
29) Shocked. WGA members overwhelmingly ratified the new three-year deal with the studios. I guess so many were going broke they had to do something.
30) Remember Nelson Pelz, who was raising cane before Bob Iger promised big changes at Disney—then changed very little? He’s back, demanding board seats. Plural.
31) No wonder I never liked this band. Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters caused fans to walk out after he spent an hour reading from his unpublished autobiography.
AND FINALLY...
-I wonder how much the mallets I used in my flaming drum solo would fetch? (They may be a tad charred).
