If you’d told me just a few weeks ago that Trump Derangement Syndrome had reached the point that prominent American politicians and news media people would be openly rooting for a major pandemic to collapse the financial markets, I would not have believed it. Surely, they would never go THAT far, I would have thought.
And then I watched it happen before my eyes.
I watched ghouls in human form hoping a virus would kill hundreds, if not thousands of their fellow Americans so the Dow Jones and the NASDAQ would plummet, and this could be used to politically damage a President they didn’t like.
Let me tell you something- I don’t like President Obama. I didn’t when he was in office and I still don’t. But even when he was at his worst, my distaste for Obama would never have led me to wish for some disaster that would kill enough Americans so that it could be used to drive him from office.
Even when Obama’s mishandling of the entire Middle East led to bloodbaths in Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere that killed hundreds of thousands of people, it never even occurred to me to hope for some disaster to strike my own country that was so bad it would hurt his reelection chances.
How many fellow Americans would I have sacrificed to remove Obama from office before he completely mishandled Iraq and bumbled the rise of ISIS and got over a hundred thousand people killed? The answer is: 0
It used to be that nobody would ever have dreamed of using something like the Corona-virus for political gain. This is how insane Democrats are after all their previous gambits to remove Trump from office failed. They keep upping the ante on their hysteria.
The fact that Democrats were perfectly willing to see a pandemic strike the United States and cause mass death as well as financial losses if it would politically damage President Donald Trump is yet another sign this party has lost its mind. It needs to be driven deeply into the wilderness and abandoned there before it inflicts further madness on the country.
My friend Thomas Wictor has taken to saying recently on www.quodverum.com that the 2020 election is going to be a referendum on Sanity vs. Insanity, with a vote for Trump being a vote to return to sanity. This latest episode of mass TDS again proves Thomas is prescient.
Back in 2009-2010, the last comparable pandemic, the Swine Flu, killed just under 13,000 Americans. There was no concurrent media or political hysteria about it. There was concern, to be sure, but nothing like the naked attempts to politicize the crisis as we have seen these days.
With over 6,000 deaths worldwide, the Corona-virus has killed exactly 69 Americans as I write this. Fearmongers stoked a national panic early into this when they tossed around figures of between 480,000-1,000,000 Americans dying of this new strain of virus. In a few weeks people will look back and see how absurd that was.
While Democrats launch political attacks to make gains while the country is facing a very real health crisis, it is far past time for American voters to send this vile party on a very long vacation out of power at any level in this country.
And not just the Democratic Party; its propaganda wing, (which I have affectionately called “The DNC Media Complex” for the past dozen years) must also be driven into the wilderness as well.
Any organized group openly rooting for:
- A virus to kill thousands of Americans
- The stock markets to suffer a catastrophic drop
- The President of the United States to become sick
- Mass hysteria & panic to virtually lock down the entire USA
Is an enemy of this country.
And that’s exactly what the Democratic Party and their media shills have become.
Now more than ever, America needs a New Media. Because the old one is not only insufferable in the lies it’s been peddling, it's now engaged in an agenda of actively trying to harm this country.
Trump has survived and thrived so far exactly because he doesn’t play by the DNC Media’s rules of pretending they are neutral news commentators instead of the implacably hostile enemies they actually are.
And if America is going to survive, enough Americans are going to have to wake up and make the same determination about a political party and media outlets that are determined to harm this country to achieve their own political ends.
